In 2022, we set out to scale our restoration to new islands, bringing us on our latest expedition to Ahe - the atoll where our founder spent the first years of his life, with his parents as pearl farmers.
In Part I of the mission, our team works with the local community to identify sites to collect and plant corals, where they end up turning abandoned pearl farms into coral farms to restore Ahe’s reef.
