This song personally hits me like a wrecking ball because I dated a girl named Morgan for over a year, and I was completely in love. We broke up a little over four months ago. We’re still best friends and still love each other, and I see her almost every week, but over the course of our relationship she changed so much and the person I know now only half resembles the person I fell in love with. And I miss that person so much. So the lines “so I drown it out like I always do, dancing through our house with the ghost of you” hit me the hardest because when I think of the ghost of her I think of the girl that I loved and that loved me so much and I picture the future I had envisioned with her when I hear “dancing through our house”. The lines “too young, to dumb, to know things like love also hit like a train
