Ooof, that's a huge compliment, especially since I'm a huge TF fan, thanks so much! 😊I guess It's because I've been playing guitar for over 15 years and I'm very perfectionistic by nature (and also listening to a lot of different musical genres over the years). I've actually been very on and off with guitar in last 8 years, and picked it up more again in last year. No I'm not in any band, but I've been asked to join many - but always refused since I have a very specific idea of how music should sound and I just write my own... Will release it once everything's in place, It will end up on this YT channel as well for everyone to hear... Thanks again!

This guitar is Hamer Centaura 1990, but it's been modified to look like Steve Lukather's Valley Arts Robot guitar. I changed the color and added the pickguard.

i mean this isnt a super hard song, once you got the basics down you might be able to play through this one comfortably, I cant give any estimation though since everyone's progress is different

Since you are a beginner I would go for something versatile like a superstrat with SSH pickup configuration (single coil + single coil + humbucker). It will allow you to play both softer and heavier stuff as well. My guitar is in that configuration, although it's a bit more expensive. Since you're a beginner you don't need an expensive guitar, if you have access to Harley Benton guitars I would look into that brand. Use Thomann if you happen to be from Europe, you can get some superstrat shape Harley Benton guitar there. Can't recommend any specific model though, since I personally haven't tested them, but people are giving them high praises online, they say they sound way more expensive than they are.

It's my own custom presets I created in Guitar Rig 6. Guitar is Hamer Centaura 1990, but I added the pickguard and changed the color to make it look like Steve Lukather's Valley Arts Robot guitar.

Hey, sorry , I missed your comment. Unfortunately I just don't have time to record lessons at the moment, but will keep it in mind. In the meantime you could use Ultimate Guitar for tabs or check some KZread lessons on the song. I learned the song by ear since I trust my ear the most.
