Ivan is just fucking brilliant. Outstanding voice, vicious screams and relateable lyrics. Probably my biggest inspiration without a doubt.

Wow. And here I thought Ivan Moody was just a great metal vocalist. This is amazing! Just heard about this band for the first time tonight, and I regret that fact!

I could imagine as he hums to his daughter when she's ready to sleep; the soothing beautiful angelic voice he has , and how her daughter slowly falls asleep to his voice .

Ivan has surprised me in so many ways. He can go from mean, and a song filled with growls, to this-a song that just gets you thinking, and listening closer.

I've always listened to ivan but just found this and can't stop listening to it.

Im honestly blown away by this, i have been listening to ivan sing in 5FDP and i have seen that he is a heavenly singer through songs like far from home but this song is gorgeous and i am at a loss for words.

Great song, but it has been removed from Spotify :(

Man every time I listen to this, it brings me back

I remember seeing Motograter live opening for 40 Below Summer & The next year, Motograter was co headling with Kittie & 40 Below Summer opening for them. Then seeing Motograter on second stage at Ozzfest, watching Nothingface & Lamb Of God play their sets; while Nuke & Ivan was standing next to me all painted up ready to go on stage next. They kept crowd surfing & getting in the pit before their set. Back, when Ivan was still singing for the band & going under the name Ghost. He had such a powerful voice back then & then this project came out in between him leaving Moto; an moving forward with FFDP. This sound somewhat carried over to the first FFDP album, but changed completely on their second album. I was so hoping FFDP was gonna sound like this or Motograter a bit, but it was far removed from both after that debut album.

Can we just consider this one of the best songs written and sang ?

one of the most incredible pieces of music i've heard in my life. this song almost brought tears to my eyes the first time i listened. totally great. please, if you don't like it, repsect those of us who do and refrain from being blantantly hateful towards the music.

This is such a mellow band compared to anything else Ivan's done and it makes me so happy.

I just listened to this song for the first time today and I absolutely love it! I like Ivan's voice better here than in 5FDP.

Coming into 2022 this song, i've realized that the older I get the harder this hits. I've gotten rougher around the edges 12 years later and this song feels like a hug from me now to my younger self. Hope you're all well out there.

Ivan truly is one of the most underrated vocalist in music his range and versatility are second to none

Paul C. I’ve got no idea. I hate that it isn’t anymore. I really enjoyed listening to them without having ads or what have you.

This saves me from time to time. 2024 and i still listen.

Love this song so much

One of the craziest love stories I ever lived, was with a man who played this song literally so often that I HATED IT. Five years ago today....., what started as a super fun/exciting relationship that was so fucking real and raw, ultimately ended with affairs, drugs, abuse, trauma and jail....I listen to this today and I not only understand him, I forgive him.

Check out Motograter if you haven't already too then. That was his band before Death Punch, only during the first album though, from 2003.
