I just realized the demon was summoned by Chet and Spider, Harold was summoned because Grandma wanted him, Barry was summoned because Melvin wanted him, Chet and Spider were thinking of something flashy and supernatural, a demon would've been perfect for that, so they indirectly summoned it.

Barry was a real one... even knowing the demon (whose design is top tier) was stronger, he didn't hesitated to wrestle with it, just to give Melvin a chance to stop it. RIP Barry.

I actually really loved how Melvins bit of bravery inspired Spider to try and help him.

I like how Melvin's friend went in the box willingly, almost reaching in, whilst the demon screamed. (Also props to Meatcanyon for not just killing every character)

The idea of the ghost of a friend coming back and not being malicious or vengeful but just happy to see his boy and helping him fight a demon is fun. Wish more ghost horror content was like that.

This was such a great video! I was surprised how well detailed the animation was like in the Kodak photos and it had a nice, well laid out story. This was my first Melvin video and I'll definitely check out all the rest later.

These grandpa polaroids was FIRE. I remember how Meat said about how he really wanna do something that he likes, like Melvin series, and not something that everyone is currently interested at. I just love how far the animation has come. The whole thing just feels smoother and more polished. I mean it’s spooky (pun intended) just how much better this looks compared to older videos while still keeping the same feel and style as the older videos. Truly just an overall improvement in every way.

I was honestly expecting Melvin to terrify the demon with one of his "bouts of malevolence" or whatever its called in the lore (you know, the bits where his voice becomes distorted, his face starts to look mildly demonic and everything looks grey around him.)

Seeing Melvin trying to talk through to his friend because of his death, he couldn't save him from the past, its nice to see them seeing together once make this series wholesome. Also, Spider is the real chad.

This is better than 90% of what’s on adult swim. Truly exceptional.

I wouldn’t say that cause adult swim was super funny bro but I will say this if he got his own show to do skits he would definitely make a name for himself I just want him to be independent that’s what gives us this best work I don’t want him to sign to a deal an has to be politically correct

Even though Melvin is a classic “sad sack” character, its really nice that each episode has him actively improving his life rather than becoming worse off.

Spider is a good guy, he could’ve left Melvin but he stayed to fight.

I like when your stories have a happy ending. It balances out the fun but unsettling stuff, it's like the emotional closure of leaving a roller-coaster.

The sounds at 9:24 are equally terrifying

Melvin is gonna grow into something really, really big - this episode was stramgely heartwarming but also OH the atmosphere, holy fuck! Also, I have just noticed that even though may watch a lot of Hunter's of him talking about something, thus connecting his voice to his face - I am still able to connect his voice acting to the characters that he is voice acting, they just fit the character(s).

The end got me all choked up 😢

The character design is incredible. I have no idea what’s happening because I’ve been mesmerized by grandma’s arms.
