They probably did, this isn't recording from a camera, it's recording from the soundboard. If you really think there would be this little sound coming from a crowd, you need to get your head checked, it's not even possible to stay that quiet, even if you're not enjoying a show.

I wish I had been a Ghost fan during this era... I came in right as they transitioned from Meliora to Prequelle. No I'm not one of those "The current Ghost sucks" people and I love Cardinal Copia too, but there was just something about Papa III and the Meliora era ghouls (even after the lineup changes) that the current era seems to lack. Maybe it's because the first Ghost song I heard was Square Hammer, maybe it's because all these wonderful videos of the third Emeritus made me a diehard fan. I just wish I could go back to witness it all as it happened and even have the chance to see Papa live. Yeah I know it's all the same man under the masks, but the characters he portrays have enough differences and their own personalities that once you miss a frontman, you just can't go back. RIP Papa III, I wish you could come back for one final encore.

Man, this is awesome, divine, these guys are musical geniuses, Tobias without extra vocals, they play in such a way that no comment is needed. Thanks for everything.

I honestly do not know how Papa makes it through this song without a tear. I get chills and teary eyed simply listening to the song on my CD...as I know the REAL meaning of it. But on the flip side - - Papa sure gave a POWERFUL performance and so much respect for his brother in this performance. CHIIILS! I love this band so much! HAIL GHOST AND PAPA!!

@Austin Ivey idk man, the way I understand the meaning after watching multiple interviews is that his brother was his shining and his like without whom he could not see. His brother introducing him to music and rock n roll at a young age and sort of paving his way into the future. And also keep in mind his brother died just before opus released and I believe that last line refers to that. The "falling over the precipice" opposite is like rising out of nothingness and you sure know Ghost like flipping things around i mean just look at the logo lmao. But that's how I interpret it, a song dedicated to his brother but music is meant to be interpreted differently, peace love and hugs man! ✌️

Something about the song is so comforting to me. I feel so safe when I listen to it

My personal litmus test for the quality of a metal band's material is to listen to it done acoustically; so many acts can shred and scream but it all falls apart as soon as they need to tone it down. Not to say that the fully electrified songs do him a disservice or anything, but I love this performance cuz it really lets Tobias's vocals shine for the powerhouse they are. Great stuff, man

That’s really stupid. That’s like saying I test pop songs by listening to them in drop B tuning and death screaming. Acoustic isn’t the same as electric, even the cords are changed to make it sound good. You can’t just take a electric song and play it unplugged, I’ve played ghosts songs without them plugged in and they sound wrong because they aren’t made that way, these songs have the cords changed so it sounds normal and good.

still one of the best recordings of that song on youtube. His voice is gorgeous on this version, holy cow.

These Acoustic performances really showcase TF's vocal talents and how far he's come in these past years. Papa IV is good, but Terzo is GREAT. Long live Papa III, miss you!

I'd love ghost to put an acoustic album out there, this gives me the shivers! It would sell like hot cakes!

His voice sounds amazing in this.

Very interested to know if he's had operatic vocal training. His voice is beautiful, he doesn't take massive inhales inbetween lines, even the ones he holds for a long time. All that screams opera training to me! My Grandparents both sang opera & both funnily enough loved metal! It's funny to listen to a band & have your Grandpa nodding along then randomly say "That young man is a talented singer, he's worked hard on that voice!" Tobias is clearly very dedicated to Ghost & offering incredible performances, I'd love to know!

This song speaks to me so deeply, I can’t even describe how much I love it. ❤ Papa and the Ghouls/Ghoulettes have my whole heart.

I like when he switches is vocal range.

If I would have had the blessing of seeing this in person I would have been in tears at this performance.

I’m a Christian. I love this song. Absolutely love this band. I was told about them before my friend played it for me and I did nt care it’s phenomenal

In October of 2016 my best friend dropped dead. I wasnt a big ghost fan but he always tried to convince me.. I listened to this for about 3 days after.. He was a great dude.

Such a beautiful song sung by an amazingly beautiful man. Ya know,when Tobias is in makeup and onstage I just cannot pick him out. It's just Papa out there. Much like when Alice Cooper was younger. Well hidden in his makeup onstage. WAhen I met him back in the day,I was kind of lost because he didnt look at all like Killer,his onstage persona.
