That’s one of the reasons I like them so much. The fact that they can go from “Year Zero” to “Dance Macabre” or “Cirice” to “Kiss the Go-Goat” is part of the appeal. The wrestling gimmick the band has is the cherry on top.

It would be from a catchy, poppy, incredible rock n roll riff that is friendly to everyone's ears. Tobias nailed the sound and the look of the message and show he's been doing. We are getting to witness one of the greatest musical talents and showmen that ever lived

This is the last song that my friend and coworker, Dayton, played for me. We bonded over not only Ghost but also a lot of emotion and trauma. Fly high my friend and know that I will never forget you.

Never realized the same guys that sung the famous "mary on a cross" made this song. Started a playlist dedicated to my late brother when I first heard this song. Alot of good lyrics in both songs. This and spillways hit home for me.

The guy that answered the door nailed it. Perfect performance.

I love that Tobias makes the music he wants to make and fuck what anyone has to say about it. He's a creative and talented guy and he doesn't want to be restricted to a single genre. Do I love this song? Yes. I also love Square Hammer, Bible, Year Zero. All completely different. And that's how it should be. I feel privileged to be taken along on this ride.

This song was my first introduction to Ghost a few days ago. I'm in love with this music!

Mary on a cross introduced me to GHOST. I listened to it about 20 times in a row. This song though as i listened to it more, has now become my favorite of theirs. I make my own mini movies with this song in my head and it's always a blast.

I absolutely LOVE how this is only a year old song, but it sounds straight outta the '80s. Love it.

This song comes on the radio at work every so often and I swear it fits right in with the rest of the Dad Rock that usually plays. I didn't even bat an eyelash until I checked the artist and thought "Wait, as in *that* Ghost?"

Which I took to imply he wasn't in character. I complimented him on how much I adore the Elizabeth song and that was that @Vannessa, a casting website called casting frontier landed me this extra gig

This is the song that I first heard from Ghost! After going hard into their previous and latest tracks and attending two rituals this year, I keep coming back to this song. Plus, the music video only makes the song better 🙃

I swear I heard this song ONCE on a spotify random playlist... and now I can't get it out of my head. this is my 86th time I've listened to this song, and I can't stop. I think I need help.

I love how most ghost songs can have double meanings, on one hand, you have a simple love song, wanting one more time before it's over, and on the other hand, you're partying like there's no tomorrow as the Plague's bound to get you. Golden work, Tobias

It's Rocky Horror costuming mixed with "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe. Watch the movie starring Vincent Price, and that will explain the chimes at midnight, the party, the plague doctor outfits, the Satanic figure, the blood on the faces, etc. I know Tobias loves old movies, so I think these references are pretty cool.

You can get alot done in a 5 minute 80s montage

Ghost is like Blue Oyster Cult but with a thicker and darker edge. They are like Scorpions but with less squeal in the vocals. They are like Black Sabbath but extra groovy. They are like ABBA but with way less Disco. If you see a Ghost, it is okay to scream. They deserve the support. 🤘😄👍

Blue Oyster Cult influences oozing from this song in particular... Tobias has already solidified himself as a top tier songwriter of his or any generation, he hits a bulls eye almost every time

I've seen this video 80 times and I still laugh at the doorman's initial smile (Yes I know he's one of the ghouls) after he says "we've been expecting you"...just the perfect smile with a dark very hidden undertone. Then his complete disdain of them walking in (probably more so of the first guy). I am so glad I have freed myself of religion and can actually appreciate and love this music.

Something that isn't mentioned alot, is the two main actors in this. They're phenomenal, the actual chemistry they have for eachother and the story they deliver without ever once speaking during the song is incredible. When she hits him, and knocks him back to his senses so to speak, the actual look of wonderment, epiphany, remembrance, as if they'd just been woken up from a fake life is phenomenal. These two had more chemistry than most if not all the latest Hollywood films, and they only spoke with looks and actions. Fucking love it. Everything about this song, the music, dancing, cinematography, the cast, everything absolutely slaps.

Yes and no. Papa Nil said that his father was Papa, and his father, and etc. It may be an origin of Papa Nihil but that would be weird assuming that his father was an Emeritus and he didn't know about the Clergy.

That is what I tell everyone that I introduce Ghost to. I saw them last July in Indy, and I am seeing them in less than two weeks in Louisville, I'm so fucking excited!!!!!!!! Ahem...sorry, got carried away. But they are one of the rare beauties of bands where listening to their music is goddamn awesome, but BEING at a performance(not just a concert, but an all-out performance) is absolutely mind-blowing. The vocals are amazing, the theatrics breathtaking, it IS an experience.
