GHK- How to Devil Hunter Mod PMAG/Stanag

Комедия

Heads up! If for some reason after doing this you still have outlet valve leaks, more than not you need to change both orings on your outlet valve. Sitting in the warehouse for whoever knows how long can dry them out and it may take 3-4 sets before they properly seal. Here are the parts/materials you will need
Outlet Valve: www.evike.com/products/38338/
Inlet Valve: www.evike.com/products/36737/
Samoon Key: samoon.com.tw/ghk-valve-tool
Evike Key: www.evike.com/products/42428/
Mad bull Co2 Charger: www.evike.com/products/31422/
Adapter:( if not running a refillable tank) www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/...
Teflon
Again if anyone has better methods or others tips feel free to include them. Nodding GHKs is really community based right now so the more knowledge the better.

You need to take out the regulator for the liquid CO2 to go into the magazine (or open the regulator over 800psi). The 800psi value is the vapor pressure of CO2 at room temp (when there is a mix of gas and liquid in a container). The liquid is what gives you the ability to shot the whole mag.

I've messed around and what I find is that if I mess with that regulator with my other mods I dont shoot at 350. I need it to consistently hit 350 and anything different with the c02 reg seems to mess with that. But I did play a straight 4-5 hour game last weekend and was able to get around 32 shots per mag, (that's just how many bbs I put in) and I was still able to get back load the mags again and get about half way through them.

It's been about a year since your original upload. Any updates on how well your mags are holding up? Seals, valves, any catastrophic failures, performance, that sort of thing. Great video, BTW.

Protip - change the title of this video from PMAG (which is the RS Magpul name for their polymer AR magazine) to GMAG (GHK's PMAG clone) to help people find your video. Airsoft guys will probably search for GMAG instead of PMAG.

What happens if you fill the magazine with C02 that has a PSI > 800? Will it blow out the valves?

Yes and no. From the general consensus you can do this mod on the stock inlet valve, but it’s not a matter of if it fails it’s a matter of when. You wouldn’t want to mod all your mags, go to a field and play, to have it fail and you don’t have any valves with you at the time when it does fail

I the the OG ones work the best. I have messed around with the inlet valves a lot what worked for me was adding a drop of silicone oil to the inlet valve before filling. I think its because the co2 just drys the orings out while filling and the silicone is preventing it.. Over the coof lock down (around 60 days) I put a 3000 bottle of exels .2g through the same mag with 0 issues.

Even with CO2 mags you need to mod them. Because the idea of this mod is to use any source of Co2, like paintball bottle, big bottles or whatever. Original C02 mags only accepts the mini bottle.

did you remember to watch the whole video? The valves are replaced with the co2 versions, Green gas valves can not keep up with co2. Teflon tapping is often not necessary at all
