You are getting there. How many parts do you think are left ? Its good for the Gheenoe community to see more than one way to do something

So how did you prepare your boat to be painted ( the 15'6") Sanding ? self etching primer? I bought a used 15"4" & put on a Honda 5hp 4-stroke (from the late 70's) and I am about to embark on a camo paint scheme inside and out ( for Duck hunting) and put in all my electrical. Everything is good the way it is. I have had it out a few times this year. I

Congrats on your 15'4 purchase. It all depends on how much you want to spend. This is specifically a $500 build so all materials are going to be cheap. For paint prep 80-100grit 5 inch electric sander. Cheap is oil based paint and expensive is gelcoat. Make sure you rough up the surface before your prime and paint so the paint has a good adhesive surface. I hope I answered your questions.
