Ghanaians 🇬🇭 You need to be proud. Before Wizkid, Burna Boy 🇳🇬 and Tyla🇿🇦. You had FUSE ODG

Before Wizkid, Burna Boy and Tyla. We had FUSE ODG. The First Ghanaian Artist to win a GRAMMY Award. His music dominated the African continent and the world Between 2013 and 2016 earning him many awards and huge international collaborations with the likes of WYCLEF JEAN, MAJOR LAZER and SEAN PAUL. He is without no doubt a key pillar in the structure of modern day African Music and a KEY contributor in the proliferation and Exportation of AFROBEATS. Many of the things the new generation is claiming and benefiting from now was deeply influenced by him.
Today we celebrate this great African Musical Legend.
Ghanaians, You need to be proud. In the same way South Africans and Nigerians are talking about Burna Boy and Tyla, You need to equally hit your chest cos you have an OG in FUSE ODG.

Our Cameroonian sister, I'll correct a few of your errors here. First, I want to say that artists like 2face, P square, and Dbanj trended long before Fuse ODG. And there was not really a time Fuse Dominated like there was no other artists. Artist like P spauare was still dominating when Fuse was trending, and P square songs had greater views and wider impact in Africa and beyond. In conclusion, NG has always dominated, before, during, and after Fuse ODG. Hope this clears the air a little bit.

Jeez! Even if U stop her from saying it, U cannot delete it from the Internet. Moreover, she didn't say Fuse ODG started before all our artists; she mentioned the ones that are true. Lets learn to admit unfavorable facts sometimes. Jeez! And if she is all about promoting everything good out of Africa, irrespective of the country, then let her be. For example, If she puts out a video hailing Sarkodie as one of the best Rapper in Africa, it won't make me withdraw my support for her since it's true, and I won't get offended just because she's talking about a Ghanaian. After all, she has so far hailed our artists in almost all her past videos.

If u are saying that that has won grammy that mean Nigeria Tem has also won grammy aside wiskid, burner boy etc bcus Tem and Drake was also feature by Future. And we Nigerian are not counting Tem as a Grammy Winner, we want her to win by her own work not somebody works fearuring her. Corrections: After considering the fact that ODG was already in the UK when he released songs like "Million Pound Girl" which was a hit, I would say he was popular before Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy only in the UK (and not in Africa), and he might be known to some other Africans (not really Nigerians) in the US before Davido and Burns Boy, and not Wizkid. In addition, Fuse ODG has never (and may never) reach the level of global recognition and popularity of Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Rema. Even the likes of Tiwa Savage, Tems, Oma Lay, Ayra Starr, Joeboy, and a whole lot of other Nigerian artists have gained global popularity that by far surpasses that of ODG. By the way, ODG was never global at any time.

And other songs like Gimme that, chop my money, and many more. These songs were all over Africa and in the UK. Then, Fuse ODG was still wearing Pampers 🤣, and azonto did not exist. Even when ODG started, he was a London local champion as his songs never went all over the world. But Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy songs started playing even on American FMs since about the time ODG started. No single American knows the name Fuse ODG; it's only a few of us Africans here that played his song on Utube. Even most Africans back home don't even know the name. None of my siblings in NG knows ODG. So modern Acrobeat foundation was already established in Nigeria when your Fuse ODG was still dancing in pampers to P square songs 🤣.
