Gosh I hate that America is like that! If you were born in America you are just as American as anyone else. This idea of white ppl being real Americans is absolutely ridiculous. Im almost half Native American and this was my ancestors land before the colonizers came. As far as Im concerned anyone can be American. I think it’s sad to divide ppl that way. Especially in cases like ppl who are first generation American and not accepted by either side. The culture you grow up in should accept you regardless

  • @lasvegascity

That's what most native Koreans think. But then the problem is we r used to being homogeneous for too long that there r so many raw hates within the society which could easily escalate or be mistaken as racism. For instance we r quite used to rich looking down on poor. It's done plainly but no one rlly complains cause since we r all Korean and equal we believe the gap comes from one's hardwork. If I'm disregarded for being poor then it's my fault not studying hard enough back in school. But what if a Korean looks down on a 'poor' immigrant? Now ppl will find it as racism or some other discrimination.

for a girl of 14 years she has such a sunny disposition. when i was her age, i was drawn to girls like her, i eventually married one. They bring eternal sunshine in a persons life. Am happy to hear her parents talk to her in their language, Twi. In my country Kenya there are many adults who actively pursue a policy of NOT teaching their children their native tongues, and are proud of it. I was once such a kid, lerant my native tongue to a near perfect fluency, and i purposely debunked that nonsense, as it stands on a foundation of quicksand.

Jerry always found the cutest people and most unique person to interview...At some point, this is an art ...❤ She even more adorable when she speaks in Twi🥰 France has such a good PR. This is a country which still have colonies in 2023... They call it overseas departments or overseas territories....but still..A country which has an artificial wealth that solely relies on the CFA Franc, meaning they hijack the economy of 14 countries in Katiopa(endonym for Africa), and this is why France has the economic power they have. They are regularly called out by their European neighbors because the artificial poverty they create, create waves of mass migration from these 14 countries, and countries like Malta, Greece, and Italy are the ones who have to principally deal with the arrival of migrants, and they are tired of it... But France don't care. The PR is so good that French people really believe that their wealth comes from selling wines, and perfume... Half of the adult population don't understand why they have almost everything for free in their country ( education, childcare, parental leave of 3 years for both men and women, medical insurance that cover many things)... When a brave Cameroonian Professor, like Pr. Joseph Tchundjang Pouemi wrote about all this , and was assassinated because of it in 1984 by the French services... People are still in cognitive dissonance. France has been problematic like this till the 15th century...France made Haiti paid a "debt" because Haiti is one of the only country who fought against the army of Napoleon and won. They won their independence and had to pay for it... If the little one knew what the "Code Noir" is ...( that's a bunch of dehumanizing laws that France had so the people who owned enslaved Africans in French colonies would not step outside humanity too much)... This Code Noir was NEVER abolished. People don't use it anymore, but it was NEVER abolished, so technically...in the overseas territories, people who have eumelanin in abundance ( melanin that absorbs sunlight an enables the connection to the Ngo) are not fully-fleshed French citizens...just saying... So, yeah...France has a very good PR team.... This is sad, and incredible that young people are still blinded by the good PR team of France ...

It seems to me that the "black code" was definitively abrogated in 1848 when slavery was abolished (transposed with a decree in France)... Correct me if I am wrong... I completely agree about the French government abusing their power on African populations but saying we still have "colonies" and that our medical assurance and educational system only work due to stolen wealth from Africa is a bit much... Indeed France was a colonial empire and consequently "stole" from other countries. However the taxes and regulations currently enforced were also the result of socialist parties demands and civil wars... I think History is more complex, it's a mixt of different actions that occured and yes colonization has a part of it but is not the only reason.
