I've done similar dances in African dance classes and it's something about those drums. The sound imprints on your soul. Thank you for sharing your trip. It's brought me so much peace and joy. Ghanian restaurants, just label the containers of food, so the foreign customers who maybe on a time crunch won’t have to stand around waiting for you to tell them each item. (Then again this tradition maybe apart of the hospitality) 🇯🇲❤️🇬🇭

I loved it Rutty! I can tell you had an amazing time and felt grateful to be there. It was hard for me to choose my first African country to visit but I decided to go to Senegal in August!! Kem kontan paske mwen paka tann poum mete pyem Afrik!!

Yes!! It was lovely!! I went to South Africa in 2016 & have wanted to return to the continent since then! Senegal is on my list too!! We were supposed to go to the St Louis Jazz Festival, but it didn’t work out. Maybe next year though!

This is not to discredit your choice of country to visit first but make sure you follow the news in Senegal before you visit. There's been some political tension in that country so please make sure you follow the news.

Hi I want to ask about your personal experience going to Ghana. How did you get there from Haiti. What was the itinerary. What was the approximate cost. How long it took to get there from Haiti. How long was your stay. Did you travel by yourself. Was it business or pleasure ?

I went to the US first for a couple of days & then traveled from Dulles to Portugal then to Accra. It was a family trip. I haven’t broken down the price per country but my whole trip to the US, Ghana, then Zanzibar was at least 5k/6k.

It’s not an actual song. The vocals you hear is from a plugin. It’s a part of the beat. From what I remember he made this beat on his KZread channel. I heard it and asked him if I could have it for my vlogs instead of him leasing/selling it.
