Ghana: The West African culture hub kickstarting a fashion revolution • FRANCE 24 English
With Accra Fashion Week underway in Ghana, FRANCE 24's culture show Encore! travelled to the West African cultural hub to meet some of the designers kickstarting Africa's style revolution. Eve Jackson met up with Aisha Ayensu, the founder of trailblazing brand Christie Brown. She has dressed the likes of Alicia Keys and "Black Panther Wakanda Forever" actress Danai Gurira. Two of her pieces are front and centre in a groundbreaking exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on African fashion. Aisha tells us why the fashion scene in Accra is "full of endless possibilities".

Racist clown. Shut the hell up. We don't eat dogs over here. Maybe ur people eat dogs over there in ur country.
West Africa Culture hub? Hahaha 😆 😂 😆. French ploy. What a joke! All the glitz are shots from Lagos and London events. There is nothing cultura hub about Ghana, how much more culture hub of West Africa. I'm still asking Ghanaians who constantly lie to themselves that Ghana looks like Europe. Where is it??? What part???Every where looks rundown and dusty. Why lie?

@Dery Sebastian Ghana is at the bottom of many African countries. Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, etc... Where is Europe in this messy shanty town?
