Personally I know how to do all this things. I learnt it as early as twelve years because I am the first born of my parents and we were having a lot of palm trees🌴 I have to help my dad to free up the land for another thing. At first I thought my dad don't like me that is why he was using me to do that hard work but now, I can do any hard work I will find my self in. After clearing all the land we used half of the land for oranges unfortunately the orange did not yield and he passed away. Anytime I go to the farm, I feel to work with him I love you dad 😭😭😭 and I miss you so much.

Has this man ever planted any palm tree in his entire life? In the 60s, 70s and even 80s we got lots of palm trees. We have lost all of them to palmwine. So easy to tap wine but very difficult to replace the felled palm trees.

Has this man ever planted any palm tree in his entire life? In the 60s, 70s and even 80s we got lots of palm trees. We have lost all of them to palmwine. So easy to tap wine but very difficult to replace the felled palm trees.

@@emmanuelduker8578 to my best of knowledge this selling of land to small scale miners started few years ago but the alarming decline in palm tree population started back in 80s.

@@D_RanD Old palm tree is too long and very difficult to work on it is good for only palm wine. Normally they use old and long palm tree for wine tapping

@@anthonyabrefa4554 ...I got ur point. But trust me, the young palm trees are also being destroyed for palm wine. I personally visited Apeteshie distillaries in the bush for my research work and I was shocked. Some of the trees are as big as my thigh.
Eiiiii bro kofi I miss this wine paaa so after send me some and God will richly bless you it is very good if you add Guinness to it

With technology we can easily extract these wines we Africans are not innovative at all still doing it the old way . Anyway thanks kofi tv for sharing this I’m in the USA now and sharing my experience kindly check it out and let me know what you think
Infact,Kofi the tapper is doing well but the problem is he must try to mention the names of the various tools he is using and their functions for each process of the tapping for example soso,t3nee,akotokyiwa,etc for more understanding.
