Black Americans are finding out today what I knew 50 years ago. My first encounter was in London where many of the so-called leaders today were educated. They had then a bad attitude toward us blacks from the Caribbean. We found out they were aloof, and had a misplaced sense of superiority. Listen to their famous performer Burna Boy. Most of them don't know the definition of culture. Our ancestors were forced to give up their African cultures, but future generations were able to evolve into a unique cultural reality. Of course even more so for Black Americans who had most of the African foundation ripped away. History is repeating itself. I never wanted to believe that the ancient chiefs who were complicit in the enslavement were so culturally depraved when presented with fake guns and trinkets. Today the presenters of those trinkets are masquerading as investors. The chiefs are biting.

Christ died for all mankind no matter what man made country they live in.!! The End of Times you refer to is an END of ALL corruption in EVERY NATION ON EARTH! The Bible doesn’t only apply to Christians it applies to every living soul. Make NO mistake, there IS NO Chosen Country or People.!! So whether we live on one continent or another, God has got us that believe in Him and accept the Ransom Sacrifice of Jesus Christ… By the way… The US is not the only country that allows for homosexual activity, there are many man made societies that allow for homosexuality. It is not the End of Times… It is the END of MANKINDS RULE over Gods creations!!! The End of this system of things is what God has promised. Hopefully mankind will chose the correct side and path. Their tears, sweat, blood and lives are deeply, intricately embedded in the fabric that makes up this country. Our most recent predecessors also fought and died for that to be recognized and acknowledged, earning us the rights and freedoms deserved. This is OUR country and HOME just as much as it is the Europeans who came here and took the land from the natives. African countries have various ethnic groups who do not have anything in common with each other and have fought and still fight wars against each other. What makes Some Black Americans think we would not be looked at in the same way. (As an other). Black Americans are immigrants over there who have very little in common with many of the ethnic groups there. Stop romanticizing countries and the numerous ethnic groups of people on the African continent and focus that energy here at home, working on our rightful place that OUR ancestors died for and have provided.

South Africa is one country that gives Liberia her flowers because she inspires the revolutionary movements in Africa. Guess who was doing tht? African Americans. When the slaves were shipped back to Africa with just buckets on their back, Liberia said come home. Ghana didn’t accept your, neither did Nigeria but four hundred years later, they say come? When new immigrants settle in some black communities in the U.S. and start surpassing the indigenes, often the same feelings of envy crops up resulting unnecessary insults and property damage. I have been asked to "go back to Africa" at times. You go where you see and feel hope. There are shortcomings in every system but the weak Land tenure system in Ghana, coupled with the moral decay and official corruption creates a huge impediment for all. Hope they win this case and are compensated. We need influx of new ideas and challenges. My heart is with them. God Bless

Us as black Americans have to lose this romanticism that just because we share the same skin color, that it means we will be accepted all over Africa. We first need to understand geopolitics. Africa is made up of so so many languages, completely different cultures and ethnicities. Majority of us black Americans don't even know their linage or where they come from, tribe, peoples, the region, languages spoken, etc. etc. All we know is just....Africa. I want to move to Africa. When you go to Africa, or any country outside the U.S. you are always an American first. Skin color doesn't matter. Africa is a completely different world than what blacks are used to. And one of our problems here is we're emotional, and make emotional decisions, and we love hype. And we fall for hype over putting on our thinking caps and thinking about things thoroughly. Most of us have some African heritage in us, but as blacks here in America, we are a combustible mix of African, European and native American. The point I'm trying to convey is, before making a move like that, research thoroughly where you're going, the culture, the lay of the land, law, language, crime and your place in it, and please understand that YOUR blackness has nothing to do with THEIRS. American first, just another human being second, black third

This is true. I don’t blame us for wanting to come back and the rose colored glasses, but the African continent is different from what we are used to in the US - we might have more in common with South Africans. We are not monolithic but we are bound by our Blackness in the US and generally see each other as brothers and sisters based on our skin tone and largely shared history. This is not true in Africa. I’ve only been to west Africa - but it’s you’re American first, then your gender and class, then maybe your Blackness. And really it’s your nationality and tribe/ethnic group first. Definitely visit and get your own impressions and keep an open mind.

I know lots of Ghanaians will beat me on this one, but, people will eventually discover the true nature of Ghana for themselves, despite its reputation as one of the best places to live in Africa. The country has a tendency to take advantage of foreigners and then discard them once it has gotten what it wants. I relocated to Ghana from the USA and experienced what I am talking about. In comparison to other African countries such as Nigeria, Liberia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya, and The Gambia, Ghana is particularly unwelcoming towards foreigners in terms of trying to resettle there. I lived there for years when I relocated to Ghana from the United States and experienced it firsthand. Ghana is broke and running to the IMF for a bailout due to her poor fiscal situation. Ghana's government has been successful in presenting a positive image of the country to attract foreign investment, particularly from the United States but for me, it is the worst place for our brothers and sisters from abroad to invest. You thinks why they take your money in the name of buying lands or property when you actually leasing it.

Lithium was found on my land in Northern Nevada. A lawyer from the White House who helped rewrite eminent domain laws drove out West for the first time in his life to apologize for his actions. The government will be taking my land for the lithium so Americans can buy e-cars that are expensive and don’t half work. I moved to Madagascar last month!

you have a problem with a country in the continent of Africa. Ghana. Now you go online and lumped all blacks in the continent in the same basket 🧺. Africa is a continent. If you have a problem with Ghanaians, address Ghanaians. Stop lumping a entire continent in the same basket. Blacks in Africa see you as their people. Ghana don't speak for the entire continent so called Africa. The biblical promised land. As a black man from Africa, specifically Cameroon. I've had bad experiences in Ghana too. You cannot lump an entire continent in the same basket 🧺. Africa is a massive continent so big that you could fit the United States in the Sahara desert and some more countries in the Sahara desert alone. Please. Don't lump a entire continent of more than 52 countries in the same basket. Blacks/bantu in Africa see you blacks in the diaspora as their people. Your roots are in that continent. 🌍 That is the land of your ancestors. I see too much self hate on this platform especially this Video from the melenated diaspora family, US, carribbians and islands and more. The biblical promised land is in the continent so called Africa. If your hating the continent, you are hating the land of the most high God Yahweh and he's people. The bantu Hebrews tribes, in western central south east of the continent.

Yes, I feel that our brother on this channel has become an apologist for the Tethers of Africa! What they've done to our FBA brothers over there in Ghana and elsewhere on the continent was expressed, not just schemes to steal, but also a deep seeded ENVY that goes way back to the beginning of the Slave trade in which many Africans played a major role alongside the European hegemony. Black Americans are basically the only people who fight white supremacy while Africans, for the most part, have become the western powers flunkies and bedwenches. 🤔

I've been to 7 countries in Africa, including Ghana. I've been to Kenya three times (my favorite) and Nigeria twice. Kenya and Nigeria have been the most corrupt, in my opinion. I have given up on wanting to live in Africa. Thankfully, unlike many African Americans, I have another citizenship. After 10+ years in the U.S., I realized there's no place on earth like my homeland, Jamaica. That's why I'm going home for good in the summer. The U.S. was never meant for Black people. But I know everyone can't (or don't want to) leave.

I've read of three returnees, who have been murdered going back there, by people befriending them, for their money. One was a retired mixed race couple. They'd gone back and forwards, fixing up the home in the countryside, for years, building their home up. They found them both dead. The murderer knew they had £50,000 in their bank. The last two murders were retiring there too and the latest murder, wasn't that long ago. It's put me off going there, except via a booked holiday.
