Uff I remember, Rab ne bana di Jodi aur Ghajini ek hi time pe release huyi thi lagbhag. Our papa was never a fan of Srk,but hum bhai behen was like nhi pehle Rab ne dekhenge par phir bhi papa ka mann rakhne ke liye unke saath Ghajini dekhne gaye,aur bhai sahab kya aansu bahey. Hahaha, sweet sweet memories.
It used to be a housefull movie of that era Thanks for making this nutshell
none the less, we all can agree that this was one of the best movie of all at that time, not only because of the plot, but for the amazing song. The song which is still playable, as a child I used to listen to that song for a whole day in loop XD weird right?

You know there is a great tragedy about the main character. Like in real if we face tragedy, we are very sad but with time the pain heals but not same for the hero, everyday he wakes up with out remembering anything, but when he sees all the information all the memories come back and he experiences the same tragedy every time he remembers which is very sad, it would have been a great climax if the hindi version followed the twist from memento where he actually killed killed gajini but could not remember and also from the tamil version where the main villain has twin brother and he is out for revenge,

This is a remake of South Indian film. In both Telugu and Tamil Hero is called "Ghajini" because Mohammed Ghajini once a ruler of India had similar type of memory loss. They unnecessarily changed it in Hindi.

@@anu3798 I am not sure if he ruled it much, I remember his story in my school, where his memory loss was mentioned, in spite of that he led attacks to neighbors of India which were then part of India and also a few parts of India that are still part of India. Even the director of this film in south India - Mr.A.R. Murugadoss mentioned why he chose Ghazini as the name of the movie by highlighting the point I mentioned

Yep, the original is Memento by Christopher Nolan which was remade in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as Ghajini by the same director A.R. Murgadoss.

@@naveenkmohan8251 actually it is kind of made of like Tenet and Inception. The movie starts with the ending and the sequence of events goes from backwards to forwards. In an interview AR Murgadoss has said that Ghajini is not an official remake but inspired copy for which he has taken the main storyline and got it adapted to an Indian version.
