【GGXXAC+R】ポチョムキンコンボムービー「already champion」[TRIBUTE]

Ойындар

ORIGINAL VIDEO BY FAB: www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm2238...
Note: there are a few differences in this video compared to the original video, but the combo recipes are the same. My only reference for these combos was the original combo video which is in 30fps and occasionally hard to determine what exactly is going on frame by frame. I've analyzed every combo in the video frame by frame to assure the intent and difficulty of the combo stays true to the original. With that being said I did complete some of these combos on the 1P vs 2P as it was much more expeditious based on training mode settings and my button layout. The stun formula has a random number in the formula that causes some combos to stun or not entirely based on RNG. I opted to not repeat these combos until RNG rewarded me with stun. My original intent was for this to be a challenge for myself, if I wanted to achieve full authenticity to the original I would TAS it, and it wouldn't be labeled as a tribute. Also, the Chipp TOD combo (3x APB) does kill but I forgot to turn off Life Regain.
This video is a tribute to the combo video「already champion」by FAB. After coming from Xrd to ACPR after the rollback update in November 2020, I was looking for something analogous to Xrd's combo trial mode. There were some resources online such as www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.p... but I found the challenge a little lacking. Having watched FAB for a few years now and knowing of this combo video, I revisited it to see if it was feasible for me to attempt every combo in the video. After playing ACPR for a few months and getting acclimated to Potemkin in this version, I started to more accurately identify the difficulty of the combos and determined I could possibly complete this, but there were a few notably difficult combos that I was unsure of. I spent about 3 months, maybe 50-60 hours in training mode accomplishing this as far as I can tell. Some combos required TAS'ing for a reference to determine what was difficult about a particular combo. Every combo in this video is done by hand on an arcade stick, some taking upwards of 5 hours of attempts. If you want a challenge to push your Potemkin execution to the limits give this gauntlet a shot.
I may break down some of the more difficult combos in future videos to provide some guidance to anyone else who might want to take on this challenge.

0:22 how do you do this one? the 5k doesn't come instantly after frc like that. You gotta use the rc macro?

this one was probably the hardest or at least eluded me the longest. I think the exact input I used was KSH KSH for FRC 5K. It depends on your controller and layout but I would try to use KSH for your RC so you can simply press those 3 buttons again to get a 5K. I think it comes down to preference ultimately in how you execute HFB FRC 5K. I did this on an arcade stick though so if you're on controller I don't have much help to offer. the RC macro is PKS so you can't use that for the input priority trick and you have to make sure you release PKS before hitting K or else you get nothing since K is technically already held down.

I don't understand. If im going to press KSH twice wouldn't It be the same as just KSH>5K? So the trick is to do FRC>5k really fast regardless of the input? I don't see where the button priority apply on this case

@@eduardomeyrer39 Yes, you don't have to press it twice. It was just the motion I found to be the least dexterous because of the placement of K on my stick. I found it easier to essentially double tap all three fingers instead of three fingers and then one finger, making it a movement of my wrist and not individual fingers. Because you have to press the FRC into 5K essentially as fast as possible, you just need to find whatever you can slam quickly.
