i mean, against Johnny there's kinda no other option. Pot doesn't have dashblocking so he has no way to get closer. The way to winning the MU is waiting to get meter to hammerfall in or using WWA. if Johnny released in S2 the MU would literally be 10 - 0

Auto-timing. Whiffing a 5P before a C.s on wakeup will force the opponent to block which can lead to an easy instant overhead

It's called "framekill". Say, you got HKD after a grab. You whiff a button to "kill" some frames than you jump/IAD/press something for auto meaty or a safejump

I prefer Johnny's card system to his old coin system. Just because the animation is beautiful and satisfying. I haven't played Xrd too much so from a gameplay point of view, is it a loss?

It's only a matter of preference. Character's power is not tied to certain mechanics. Cards are strong and Strive Johnny could be as string as his Xrd version without coins obviously

Animation wise might be, but the casual quick coin throws into combos is another lvl of sexyness. Especially the coin throw pose looks soo coool n' disrespectful 😂. I wish he gets the coins back with a different function, increase wall bounce and air time of MFs?

Millia is still in a depressing state. There are almost no TOP players left with her. All the best players abandoned the character, who was left without potential and tools. Millia is just a bad joke in this game. It’s really unfortunate that the developers of the new Guilty Gear never cared about Millia. Remember everything that happened to this character - I predicted this 4 years ago. Millia is simply not needed here. A great roster representation for a competitive fighting game: 5 out of 5 braindead gorilla and S+ meta. Extremely balanced... and still no chance for Millia. Most of the Strive audience are just kids with an IQ of 10 if they believe THIS game is "competitive". All "fascist" TOPs and finals are worth nothing, because Strive's balance only works in one direction. Alas Let the census of the mentallyret"rded begin:

Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. Nothing has changed for 3 years now. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay. don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear. I just can’t believe that after a masterly xx or even xrd, they released this shame. It’s not surprising that this dirty game has gathered the worst and most prejudiced community around it.

One day, Konakon, you will hopefully find a genuine sense of joy in your life, and it will make you look back upon the hours and hours spent in vain, sucking joy from the cracks of a shattered ego, with fruitless complaints about things you may never truly be able to change, and you will have a sense of regret. "Was this all I did?" may be what you pose yourself. Time is fleeting. Besides, if you put all this doom-and-gloom energy into instead playing Millia at a top level - not even in Strive, but in any incarnation in the series - I'm sure you could stand with the best! What is life if not the struggle upwards, after all?
