One of the coolest looking guitars i've seen. Excellent.
Quirky, brilliant, innovative with multilayered talents crafting artworks de la verve.
Love it. Warts and all. Also very much enjoyed your presentation of the process. Thanks so much for sharing this. Best of luck in the contest.
i had no idea ash could be flamed like that. great vid and fantastic guitar.
Very cool. I'd be proud to rock that.
Ur as quirky as this guitar and I love it! A well suited design, no question. Your particular brand of humour had me from the start and I stayed for the build. Hope to see much more in future!
Absolutely stunning!
Love the design 🤩
Amazing work! Witth limited tools, u kick ass!!
Out of all the channels that make guitars,, you and Noe are fucking craftsmen!
Very unique build and a gorgeous result.
I love it! The body could've been a bit bigger but overall it's awesome! Would love to see more!
Amazing new-retro-wave-tele ) Great design, really. And, it's fun to see the whole process, I like how this video was directed. Thank you )
Bruh, just… ugh. Stunning! Elegant! To say that I love the deconstruction of a classic and reconstruction into a geometric icon would be an understatement. Seriously dude, kudos! And that wood is just to die for. Using ebony as a pickguard? Brilliant. Hats off. Take a bow. Standing ovation. You deserve it. Cheers! 🍻

Thank you, Mr nerdy ass luthier!
That was genius!
Dude, you already won simply building it. Brilliant!
That was quite the entertaining video. Guitar also looks pretty good!
well you are friggen hilarious 🤣🤣nice work and nicer work on the saves congrats on pulling this one off , looks fantastic
Congrats, that's a beautiful piece
What a beautiful and interesting crisscross grain. I've never seen anything like it.
So many really cool design choices in this one. I think it turned out absolutely great and definitely a guitar to be proud of, even with all its little quirks! :)
nice one👌
awesome design 👏 I like it a lot
Cool video, you're a funny dude 👍😁 Sounds great and I love the timber and the ebony inlays.
Es simplemente maravillosa, precioso trabajo. Bravo.
Brilliant. Love the contrasting colours and the figuring in the wood.
Love it, just beautiful. The shape is clearly a true success, and the wood is splendid...
I'm a bit late but rewatch the vid and found it so funny. Jimmy may find a carreer as character actor . In comedy or as a very disturbing vilain... Super cool guitar. The shape is good: The guitar is still unmistakingly a Tele while it is really different. This the kind of attempt of reinventing the wheel i usually hate but the result is visually well balanced, elegant and 'logical'. And well made. One of the best of GGBO 2022, as a guitar and as a video.
I really like the guitar, I can appreciate a luthier without all the nice shop tools and big shop. Really like the symmetries of it and the hardware match perfectly in my opinion. Great Job!
Круто получилось. Посмотрел с удовольствием
Great!!!
man that look awsome , thumbs up for great build
Sorry I'm a year late for the party! Your build is seriously and enviously cool...😎
Ausgezeichnet! Just fix that last inlay & it will be perfect. Beautiful.
PSS Great sound demo!
good job,man, looks great!
had to add another comment. man, you play great.
I like the commentary.
I really enjoyed this video and think the guitar is really unique looking, great work.
Gotta hand it to you. Clever problem solving, design, and critical thinking skills.
I'm totally gonna steal that design. So cool.

I hope I'll get a cut!;)
Love this build! it looks cyber punky with the angles! would love to see this in like purple color to make it even more futuristic looking lol
Beautiful ! Nothing else to say
You're a little crazy, but I loved that you were honest and recovered, because even though you made a lot of small mistakes, you fixed everything perfectly. The instrument sounds amazing and I really like the shape of the instrument. Congratulation
Yeahhhh. I love the design with all those angled edges. The wood is stunning too. You did an awesome job for a f* idiot. 😉 Congratulations ! And the video is also very fun to watch. 👍
Gorgeous build. Well done mate.
It's super cool bruh!
Man, that is SICK! ❤️
Amazing! Freehand beauty! And I love when I goof up, as you say you did, and have to come up with a “new design feature” to cover it up. Just necessity being that mother that she is! Love the guitar, man! Kudos!
Wow, da hast Du einen rausgelassen! Die Tele des 21. Jahrhunderts. Im Extrem hätte ich mir dieses Teil noch als Headless-Instrument vorstellen können. Tolle Arbeit!
Not a bad looking guitar. I like the wood grain and figuring in the body. It also sounds pretty good as well. Well done.
Man, the guitar looks rad, and slick, and aggressive yet a bit elegant I love the simple contrasts in the colours of the woods, I love the geometry and the shapes You did a great job, congrats 👍👍👍
I really like the shape concept. I am a big fan of wood grain, so, wow! The natural lines are wild when you throw those facets on there. ANNND, I'm sure a painted version would be a killer look.
Overall a well balanced build. Nothing looks out of place. After watching so many CNC builds lately, it was great to see a guitar with character. Love the flamed ash oiled. I think this is the best I've seen for the GGBO. My favourite anyway.
wow ...man ...this is a fantastic build. I really love that kinda minecraft treatment on a regular tele. and it sounds great too. Congrats.
I absolutely love the way you did the input jack that was genius dude you are awesome
It's unusual but very nice!
I loved this video -definitely one of the most interesting GGBO 22 entries! Honestly, that body shape is not for me, but then you didn't make it for me. I still think it's very clever. The line intersections are fascinating and the shape really brings the grain patterns out. The highlights for me were the 'improvement opportunities' that you discovered (or did they discover you?). The honest way that you showed the imperfections and how you recovered them and in some cases turned them into interesting features really made it for me.
One of the more interesting GGBO videos. Not too sure about some of the design, but each to their own. And the wood is wonderful!
Good project. The only thing missing is the pickup selector.

I dig the design tbh
Love that guitar dude!!!! Design, scratch plate, screw up fixes, all executed so well 😀 and love your style, your a funny guy, put up longer videos in the future though!!!
At first I didn't like. After that I didn't like too. But at the end I learn to like!!! Hehe Nice job Jimmy! And pls, buy another shorts.
I want one! 👍
Show!
After seeing you make and put on that scratch plate I must admit the guitar really looks like about a 56 00 dollar guitar

Your "relationship" with the camera is somewhere between disturbing and creepy. That's a very nice guitar.

PS Way to improvise!! Just like tattooing. if you don't have a second chance, then you better figure out how to make it into a feature :) solid!
Great looking guitar! Both the wood and the design is great. What kind of oil did you use to get that smooth shiny look?
@randomjimmy8413
Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's Crimson's oil, penetrating and high build, about seven coats in total. Plus some wax.
Que buen diseño, podrías sin ningún problema poner tu propia marca de guitarras.
body is a 10/10
Really great guitar ! Very interesting ! Can you tell me what is your tool for cutting the fret place ?
@randomjimmy8413
Жыл бұрын
Crimson fret slotting ruler and Crimson fret saw. And a little jig that helps cut straight. You could just use a sanding block as a guide, though.
Hmm, question. Are there any guitar builders applying another tuning than equal temperament? I think lutes playing old music have some options. When I play Joe's Garage and nothing else, I might just as well have the frets placed in slightly different spots. For some "perfect" chords, right? Just because I see you sawing the fret slots... Why not choose one of the other tuning systems?
@AndrewKellyLuthier

There certainly are some guitars out there that use different fret placements, there are also True Temperament fretboards that do what the name suggests. When 99% of guitar players know and are intimately familiar with equal temperament, it's usually a good idea to use it if the goal is to sell the guitar.
iam poor guitar please🙏。from japan hokkaido。
yeh the Tele is just a sh&t design and that's why only a billion of em have ever been sold lol
