Gosh, the figuring on that wenge is just outstanding. A fantastic choice. Mixed feelings on the inlay but absolutely loving everything else. Layering what I presume is maple between the wenge was outstanding on the headstock. Loving watching this guitar come to life!

Thanks so much. I'm hoping the inlay and the art work make sense in the end. Fingers crossed! And wenge is my new fav wood.. it's just so beautiful

Have you worked with Wenge? is a bit heavy, but it's become my fav neck wood. It just feels good. so far really stable too.

@@randmockguitars4079 I've used it for a fretboard and I love it, never considered a whole neck though that looks wild, adding to my todo list

@@micksguitarsarecool You're going to love the experience and hate the dust. Good thing about it is you get to test your mask and air filtration. If dust is getting through, you'll know. I walk out of my shop looking like a coal miner

@@randmockguitars4079 lol, I've been pretty good about dust masks recently so we'll see how it goes.

This is so beautiful. I’m sort of saddened by my lack of vocabulary when watching these GGBO videos. The wood is stunning and how it will look with finish on it may just blow my mind. Nice work and very classy editing and music bed.
