Gfriend is too valuable to disband already. for people who don't know, from the 3rd gen gg it was always (twice, blackpink, red velvet , gfriend , mamamoo ) they sold more than 1M copies and 1st gg of 3rd gen achieve 1M from non big 3, they are with fews gg like (tw, bp, rv, mmm) who has above 4 million listeners on Melon and have 70 wins from music shows and on. I hope they'll sign with another company comeback to us 😭💜💙

It's one of my favorite too! It's also the song that got me into Gfriend. And I don't understand, I see a lot of people on KZread saying this song is boring and forgettable... This song is so beautiful, I really don't understand. It comforts be when I'm feeling down. It's like a warm hug!

It's so rare to see someone who has Crossroads as their fav GFRIEND song. Whenever people talk about GFRIEND, it's almost always that this song is never mentioned. Prolly because when this came out, it was overshadowed by Labyrinth, and the public treated that song as the title track instead. Also doesn't help that it has the same title as the album.

there's no one who's making music like gfriend in this industry, they're the one and only

I'd say there are groups that make Gfriendish music, though, but sadly, people sleep on them. Often times these songs lack thw upbeat drum and electric guitar that has been very well incorporated together with strings and the rnb synth in Gfriend's music. Let alone that these other groups do this 'fairy-like' song a bit less consitent than what gfriend has done with their 'powerful innocence (nostalgic)' song

@@summer5144 Pretty sure we can, Gfriend has never not emphasized how they want to be a long lasting group they wont easily just renew their contract unless the contract is trash. Also in one video Umji said that she worked hard for the contract renewal, pretty sure one member couldn't get an agreement so they all decided to leave. Lets not forget how its called contract "termination" and not an expiration which means they were technically kicked out. They still have a few months left and they were literally kicked out

You resonated with "Crossroads" so much. Their orchestral pop is really your cup of tea with your interest in the instrumental. Gfriend's vocal part is such an integral part of their music. The story is deep but not required to enjoy their beautiful work.

people rediscovering gfriend's music through reaction videos had been a source of comfort for many buddies who are going through it atm after the disbandment news so we're thankful that you plan to continue the journey with their discography one thing to note about the mv is that it features many recurring symbols from their past mvs (clock, train, crossroads, butterfly, glass bead etc) and surprisingly no dance scene was shown at all (the choreography for this song is insane and i recommend you check it out in your own time), anyway cheers :)

I don’t know if it is just me but Almost every gfriend song now sounds sadder. I wish they would reunite again. FiFi I recommend you song of the sirens, I think it’s the best album for you to begin with.

im literally thinking exactly the same. sounds so so nostalgic now 😕 im not even an actual fan but for example mago sounds way more nostalgic if you think about it as a disbandment song.

I had seen several of their songs/MV's, and really liked them, not enough to flip me into a stan though until this song. Seeing the symbols coming together here made me go back to watch them all.

I personally felt that this song was an absolute masterpiece and had it on replay for days. but many others said it was boring because it released in the same year as apple and mago. Gfriend was the first ever kpop group that i stanned and they will always have a special spot labelled legends in my hearts

Those people have no taste cos mago and Apple have a sound that could have been any group’s. This song however is 100% pure GFRIEND style.

Its really heartbreaking, one of the most talented group, unique music, diverse concept have to face disbandment, at least give them a proper goodbye, a last song, a last concert or something like that, im really dissapointed

GFRIEND is one of a kind group leading to unique and nostalgic sound different from the typical mainstream style. They were a gem that many K-pop fans needed to listen. For me, it will be hard to find a group just like them again. We needed to hear more music from them because of their growth and it's very sad to see them leave. Their disbandment is one of the most upsetting events in K-pop. The girls treated their company as family that they will care until the end, but the company failed them despite the 6 years of being together. Thank you for bringing us Gfriend content, specially for the fandom BUDDY. We are grateful of all the people supporting and loving these 6 girls that we adore.

I'm not afraid to admit I cried when I heard the news and,even now still don't (fully) know what's happening.I once told a friend that they're a group that comes along once in a lifetime.I will stand by my statement that they debuted as legends forever and,I still believe in that.In general you don't have to like G-FRIEND peoples taste vary,but you will respect them period.Ask any idol group female/male any generation they'll have nothing but,praise for them.Queens of choreo invented 2x dance visuals/music some of the funniest people around they have it all.Let's not forget about BUDDY whom they care about deeply G-FRIEND forever❤.

Crossroads is one of the only songs that literally can make me stop breathing like I'll literally forget how to breathe every time I hear that song because I'm just in such awe and everything is just stunning and the vocals hit me different so like it makes me want to cry but like I completely just stop breathing watching that music video and hearing the song it's such a beautiful song I am in love with it this is why I considered gfriend as having the best discography in the industry

Their b side is *insert chef kiss*... Look out for your reaction to their side track especially Rainbow... it's been years for the song but it's such a masterpiece and wow.. I think you gonna love that song

This is a masterpiece ❤️ a lot of boy groups stans find them boring 😭 because there's a prejudice against ggs with concepts like theirs. Their storyline is mostly about friendship and their hardships!

watching this give me comfort :( anyways, if you like to get into their bsides, i recommend their mini-album, song of the sirens. that album is a cultural reset, magical, astonishing!! also, their japanese discography is very solid. it's a bummer they don't get promoted enough.

"Masterpiece. Magnificent." - perfectly describe their music. I hope Gfriend comes back!

After they announced leaving the company, the company very quickly and suddenly trademarked GFriend and the leader herself confirmed the end of GFriend. No insight on if they'll continue under another name (Beast --> Highlight style) or with music at all but whatever they decide to do, what else can we do but support them

Although I LOVE the music video sm, the dance for Crossroads is actually my favourite of all their songs so I always recommend to watch the dance video (the professional one) as well as the MV

This song is amazing. It’s my favorite song of all time. Symphonic pop and harmonies.. it hasn’t been this good since Pet Sounds/Smile era Beach Boys, or Ray Conniff Singers.. either way, it feels like it’s been 50 years since music this good. (There has been good symphonic pop in the last 50, but usually with solo voices or a small group of backup singers.) That “guide to the sky!” high note, followed by the string buildup, and then Yuju coming in a cappella.. 💜💙🤍 I have bruises on my heart from that bit.

Crossroads, Rough, Navillera & TFTMN is a masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥

The fact that Crossroads, MAGO, Love Spell, Apple and Secret Diary are all on the SAME album (Walpurgis Night) is insane... Some of my favourite songs in the entire kpop industry on 1 album.. I'll never get over it

GFriend's Crossroad is an event which has storyline sequencing from their previous Fingertip. Yeah, GFriend is the best girl group making me cry with happiness after they comeback. One of the reason why Gfriend is the gp that can bring live band during their concert is because their music production really I dont know how to describe but as a musician student Im really into Gfriend music vibe even there haters or non kpop say nahh Gfriend song not my vibe that because they dont hear the music by heart. Time for the Moon Night, Sunrise and Crossroads were my favorite GFriend era. It is sad to know we won't have them anymore and how much they have been underappreciated when in fact not only have they have solid title tracks but also really good Bsides as well for many years.
