And what you think is a leaf, it's actually not a leaf but a bug. The members are actually so scared of bugs, that you can see that Sowon lost her concentration a bit (seeing some of the members fall and the bugs). And after that incident, Yuju's finger was broken. Because of this incident too, they began to gain the attention of netizens for their tenacity and professionalism who did not give up and continued to perform with passionate dances despite falling many times. I watched it again and again but I smiled, because without this happening, No GFRIEND exist! I remember SINB said that this performance means so well to them because this moment BUDDIES started to catch up with them and many praised them for their professionalism and fighting spirit. Many laugh at them but what impact this performance brought out to them is unforgettable; GFRIEND loved by many, Me Gustas Tu became Korea's National Theme Song, Buddies became Huge and they once unite all fandom in a concert. Successful Achievements only GFRIEND did.

Yuju said in a interview when she broke her bone many people accused her of faking it for views and she cried at night. Sowon was so mad that as soon as she got off stage she yelled at the staff and I'm all for this. Like they are still people if you could double check for your child why would you not double check for your clients your friends your coworkers you know!

It's sad to say that this happens often. Bad stages and slippery ones had injured some idols, like Bora from Sistar who broke a thumb and arm because of a fall on slyppery stage. And she wasn't the first or last. 🙁

There is an earlier vid of them performing Glass Bead before this one. You can see the stage crew mopping up the stage before and after Glass Bead. But you will also see how heavy it was raining. They must have done a run through but earlier in the day before the rains started. As it got dark and started to rain and people gathered it was too late to cancel. The stage lights started to draw huge moths that are prevalent in that area that time of the year. To gross you out more is the fact that the huge moths would flutter around their feet during dancing getting stepped on and squashed making the floor even more slippery. The girls were more concerned about getting squished bugs on them especially those who slipped and fell. And you know how scared of bugs the girls are. But then they became Korean legends. Yuju said in an interview afterwards she was hoping if she just jumped back up real fast no one would notice her. You probably can't show them but you should checkout Gfriend's guest appearances on both Running Man's 100 vs. 100, and their 2nd appearance on Weekly Idol that happened just after this incident. it's too sad to be watched by anyone

really a heartbreaking incident, causing great trauma to all the members afterwards. the stage was wet, full of bugs (Poor Sowon, she has a phobia of bugs). this incident has long been buried by the members and also the buddy, they never even want to talk about it. Also i can't even watch this video till the end. Tbh i don't know what would make someone suggest this incident again huh. Btw now Viviz just released the first MV teaser, tomorrow the second, then the day after tomorrow all will be released. hope you can support them:)

Ofc i will! Many ppl suggested this tho. They wanted to know my perspective since i always did rehearsals on the stage before performing. This is very unacceptable

This performance was responsible for a huge spike in Gfriend's popularity. A lot of people were impressed by the way they handled falling on a wet stage that they started following them and becoming fans. If I remember correctly, Yuju broke her finger during this.

Despite the fact that its slippery and other members fell, the girls really did their best to give a good performance. They still give that power to their dancing eventho its really hard to dance on that stage. You can notice yuju is crying or about to cry in the middle of the performance. Yuju once said in an interview, they dont want to talk about this incident anymore and even their parents don't want to watch this because it is very hurtful too them

I cry 😭 every time I watch this but I feel every Buddy should watch this at least once to understand the pain Gfriend suffered in their early days. But even in the darkest storm there is a rainbow 🌈 and Gfriend found universal admiration across the world for their courage, professionalism and determination to continue to the very end. This song never won a trophy despite being so good but after this went viral it became the first girl group video in KPop history to get over 100 million views and they became the hottest property in KPop. Every variety show, every concert, every award ceremony wanted them to come and perform this song for them. So great things came out of their lowest point. They were about to be disbanded less than a year after debut when this happened and their lives suddenly changed dramatically becoming rookies of the year despite not having a single music show win. I am so proud of them.

@@KpopSaviReaction I agree. I am so sorry that you hadn’t been mentally prepared for the pain you would inevitably suffer watching this for the first time. But this pain was nothing to the hate that jealous fandoms inflicted on them afterwards when they were beating their favourites on music shows after this. Poor Umji suffered the most but I am so proud how she has emerged from all that, a proud, self-confident, independent woman with jaw-dropping beauty and a heart of gold. It is always a pleasure to watch your reactions to Gfriend members as you are obviously a hard core Buddy like I am but have such interesting insights into dancing that I love to hear.

I have slipped on the stage but it was bcs i lost my balance. Like i said, we always do a test on the stage before performing. And it is the responsibility of the stage manager to make sure the stage is ready to perform. We always do a little rehearsal to make sure the stage is safe, how wide it is, where is the center, how was the lighting. So to have this accident on the stage is unacceptable for me

It was rainning that day and since it's outside stage I was all wet and slippery. I still have difficulty watching that video because I hate seeing my girls fall and get hurt. That being said, it's because of that video and how professional that they were that made me a hardcore Buddy forever.

I can't believe you are reacting to this video. I wish the one who suggested this video would give you a warning in advance. This is such a painful video for Buddys to watch. It hurts every time we see the members fell. However, it is an important video for those interested in Gfriend to see as it played a role in their growth. This video actually went viral before Gfriend were known by the international fans. Gfriend said what is important about this performance is not how many times they fell, but they got up every time after each fall. This video became an irrefutable proof of Gfriend's professionalism and fortitude. It's a symbol of Gfriend's rise through adversity. If I remember correctly, Yuju actually broke her finger from one of the falls. Oh dear... I am glad you saw this video but feel sorry you did a reaction without prior knowledge. It was an awful experience, but our girls made delicious lemonade out of bitter lemons.

I really hate watching this bcs performers fall all the time, but this one is completely unacceptable. I feel really bad for them to have to go through this just to be proven professional. Even if they dont continue to perform, it is completely their right to stop bcs this stage is dangerous.

(hope I recall correctly) "It is not the number of times you fall, it is the number of times you get up" that statement is impressive (or i hope the translation and my memory are correct)
