they survived the plan to starve them to death after the soviet union reconvertion into CIS , the CIA planned a collapse of north korea by privating them from food construction materials and exportation and international trade , they survived after the scandal outbroke in 1998 by human right watch for mass genocide ,ashamed the US lifted the UN blockade in the end of 1998 , north korean governement made a lawsuit at the UN @@RandomUploads13

I would rather say that Soviet and Chinese aid helped in the development, but first of all, the ideas of Juche and the enthusiasm of the DPRK citizens raised it from the ruins of the Korean War.

It's from the documentary "Kim Jong Il - The People's Leader", you can find it in DPRK Video Archive youtube channel. I can't recall the music name in the clip.
