I am so glad you mentioned the job titles that are related to Salesforce Administration as a lot of us starting out in the Salesforce ecosystem.

I like how realistic you are about things. It’s the little steps that help along the way.

I was lucky to get my first SF job before being experimented on the tool... I had worked on other CRM systems though (Microsoft Dynamics). Demonstrating your high motivation and willingness to learn really helps in the interview process!! Also show your trailblazer profile and realizations.

I would definitely continue to do trailheads just to expand your knowledge. Although, I doubt that the interviewer would check your trailblazer profile. Hope this helps!

Hey Emily, Long story short Im in the process for transitioning from Insurance Sales to Tech Sales and the main company Ive had my eye on is Salesforce. I was hoping I could pick your brain and get some insight on some general expectations.

I currently use sales force as an end user within my company .This does give me experience on the platform as I use it all day. Could this be relevant experience to transition more to Admin.

How much did your first job pay, if you don't mind me asking? debating looking for a volunteer/nonprofit right now while I'm doing a cohort.

If I'm applying for a BA role - do I need to have a Admin cert beforehand? BC it sounds like if I have that cert I should be making more money than a BA.

I am 10 years old, looking to start out in salesforce, currently working on getting certified in salesforce and this video has been super helpful, thank you!

Look for a recruiter or recruiting company to help get you placed. In the United States I’ve worked with TekSystems and Mason Frank and they’ve both been good to work with!

Are you talking about salesforce the company directly? For that I would suggest just applying on their website. If you are looking for a job as a salesforce admin I would look to get the admin certification and then work with a recruiter/ recruiting company.

Surely there has to be better advice available for Salesforce Certified Administrators to get hired. The advice in this video seems excessively weak and scattered.
