George seems like a cool guy you wanna be friend with the first time you see him

The interviewer did a really good job. The questions were great, many of them were not the usual repeated questions. The interviewer did a really good job in making George feel comfortable and making this seem like a conversation rather than an interview. Both seemed to have fun, and that was really nice to watch.

I can genuinely feel that he really appreciates and loves all of his films!! he explains his films in the most beautiful, passionate way an actor can say, and he is just so humble and well-spoken.

Mr Merryman this interviewer actually treats actors like a normal person. Like someone you’d see at a festival and just want to get to know. Or something. Idk, I don’t meet many people.

George is such a humble and kind person... I mean I feel really inspired by him. Thank you so much for this interview. It shows a lot what kind of person he is. "Cheers" to you, George!

After his comment on The Lion King, I was like, “We’re about the same age, I broke the tape it was on, like 3 times, and my dad always fixed it”, but you are showing the original, right? You can’t beat Scar’s song (Be Prepared), and I love Timon and Pumbaa. Simba really did need to face his fears, and it’s tough, and I think they showed it beautifully. And The Hula Song never gets old.

One of the best interviews with George. Good questions.

Nobody says, "Yeah, yeah, yeah" quite like George. Loved this interview too!

George is the kindest, most down-to-earth gentleman, and the interviewer did such an excellent job as well. 10/10 would rewatch.

I find him to be so incredibly complex and his performances really reach me

Love this interview!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Really chatty and not the same questions asked as he gets in literally every interview ever😂 (to do with 1917 anyway) and you can actually see some of his personality instead of him just being a bit bored and concentrated on trying to vary his same answers😂

Until I saw the 1917 movie, I didn't know who George MacKay is. It's been about a week and I can't stop thinking about it. The 1917 is phenomenal. And it is pleasant to listen to George, how he talks, he has such a nice charisma. I found out he was in another war movie named Where Hands Touch. A lot of emotional film, where his character dies :( it seems to me like a much underrated actor.

YES! I've only just seen 1917 and now I'm looking for any movies George is in. His performance really did get to me. He makes it so complex and nuanced. I hope he gets more big roles in the future.

I fell in love with him the first time I saw his interview about him not having social media. And fun fact, I still haven't watched his movies but definitely going to tho. Favorite person at the moment I mean look at this guy! Perfect personality!
