I think Apachai from Kenichi was from Thailand too. So i was quite surprised that Garnt complained about Thai representation. (Of course there could be characters from an another nation that practices Muay Thai, in that case thats not an actual representation, but at least that would be some cultural representation. @@OTaxanO I disagree, you’ve got the highlands of Scotland, the Island of Ireland, Historical England and Wales, and that’s just the UK. While they may not have as many manmade landmarks, they still have A LOT of history and so many different cultures. Throughout school, they’d take us on field trips to explore different things, like Washington DC, historical towns and forts, and even offered summer trips to countries like Greece, Italy, Ireland, and China. A lot of Europeans bash Americans for never going outside the US but it seems like a lot of ppl from the UK don’t leave their own country either. @@OTaxanO that’s not true at all. You must be like 16 and not got out much. In lots of ways America is way less diverse, yes it has a wider variety of ecological and landscape environments and climates but a lot of the buildings and towns are cut and paste, because most of it is new builds and corporate. In the U.K. we have Roman towns, Elizabethan towns, the difference in architecture between costal hamlets in Cornwall and the Lakes in the valleys. Not to mention the culturally differences that are encountered over relative short distances. What you say is incredibly ignorant and evidence you need to get out more. London on its own is a melting pot of cultures and history.

Why are you even mentioning london. Do you think none of these guys have been there. Of course it's a 'melting pot'. That is THE melting pot of the country. As for the different towns of different origins you talked about, sure, they might be a bit interesting for their architecture, but what else really. Just mentioning culture varies even a short distance away in the UK, isn't really a statement backed by anything. So I think it's quite easy to say I was fucking shocked to find out DIO's corpse is found near the Canary Islands and that Lisa Lisa is proposed by George in Las Palmas. Right now, I'm going through Gundam (from 0079 to the current ones) and they've mentioned the Canary Islands TWICE already, and I know for sure the last movie also mentions them. After her, every single family member had 3+ children of their own, and many of their children had at least 2, but some as high as 6. to get from her to me, that's 3 (her kids, all of whom had kids of their own) then 3 (my mom and her siblings) then 2 (my sibling and I), but with 5 additional first cousins. But counting all her descendents in total its 3, then 9 then 20 per the generations lol. If my great grandmother can have 20 great grand kids....well lets just say we're lucky that its not at least 80-90 million people who are claiming heritage lol. Finland has been independent for 105 years but finnish culture and settlements go back allmost as far as the English ones, and thats just the ones that remain. There would be a lot more older stuff in Finland but buildings were allmost completely made out of wood. Our cultural heritage is ancient and our mythology is rich and unique.

The most fun and interesting story I know about my county (Panama) is about when the Scottish took at chance at colonization. They asked England for a loan in order to finance an expedition to Panama in order to install a colony after reaching the Pacific Ocean through the mountains and jungles of Darien (a region here). Long story short they underestimated the terrain and 80% of participants died. Partially due to this failure Scotland had to give up its sovereignty to England. There’s also no representation of my country in anime whatsoever 😅

Like yeah sure those particular countries histories are short, but that's 'cause they took over the countries that were already there and had much longer more complicated stories that you could definitely dig into! Australia's aboriginal community has one of the oldest oral traditions of history and story telling in the world! Possibly THE oldest. The history is there, you just gotta ask the right people.
