Love CKLW in the late 90's/early 70's. Especially loved the tight format and who could forget Byron MacGregor--great newsman.

I grew up in Port Clinton, Ohio in the 60's and 70's right on lake Erie and all we listen to was CKLW THE BIG 8, so many wonderful memories from CKLW, we had it on the radios in the house and in our vehicles, I'm fortunate enough to have a few CDs of 24hr airplay from the 60's and 70's.

Grew up in Toledo during that time. Toledo had 3 Top 40 stations. WTOD, WOHO, WTTO. GOOD TIMES.

@MusicomAcademy. I feel an obligation to point out that in San Francisco KYA adopted the slogan “Boss of the Bay”, which forced KFRC (RKO General station) to call itself “The Big 610”.
