Agree with Idaho Quadcopter. I have not purchased my first drone (gotta wait until after Jan. 1st). But, I have watched many, many other KZread tutorials and you're very thorough on what drone pilots need to know. I've had too many photog friends... fly them once and crash or have fly-offs.Thanks

Many years ago, make that decades, I used to fly competition RC aerobatics. Congratulations as this is the best and most complete introduction to drone flying I have seen.

I've been researching the Mavic Mini for a couple of months now. Just bought it this the weekend and waiting for it to be delivered. This is by far the best tutorial I've seen. easy and simple. but also gave some tips that other reviewers never touched on. Well done

Always learning something! - I have watched alot of these mini vids but this is the first that mentioned that the unit has what I would call "return to me" as I plan to use mine off my boat so thats a huge feature. Thanks!

My Mavic Mini arrives tomorrow, for the last 2 days I've been absorbing as much info as I can about this little beast. By far the best of the lot is this video, actually I'm going to watch it again while having lunch. Thanks so much I now feel I am prepared to unbox and fly immediately.

I just got mine. And I agree with everything you said here. He's the first one to cover "everything." I'm not new to flying, but this is my first dji drone. I'm so glad I found this vid. I gotta admit, I'm a little nervous with so much to learn. Hope you had a good first flight. I'm going to get mine registered, and try my first flight after some coffee. Gotta get my eyes open first. I watched 3 beginner's guides to the Mini Ed, yours was the best. Nice pace, good detailed coverage, didn't skip steps or assume knowledge. Felt like somebody was there with you as you open the box to make sure you do everything right, including those awkward things like updating software etc... 👍🏻

I'm so pleased I watched this before my drone arrived, I'm a 71yr old and VERY inexperienced drone pilot and only flown a couple of cheap toy drones before. I thought I'd get something a little better while I still tread the daisies just waiting for my refurbished Mavic Mini to arrive thinking it would be like the toys until I saw how comprehensive the program is. Your excellent video has shown me how wrong I was by thinking my Mini was going to be like the others, I had no idea how much was in the program but now after watching this I at least know what I'm in for, very exciting, thanks so much.

This one is REAL tutorial for beginners. I watched and like few others but this one really gave me confident that I can fly. Very in depth without any extra BS. One more thing I am found out that we both are local. Hope fully one day I meet you. Thanks for great video. Big thumbs up.

First off, awesome video! Secondly, I thought I recognized the buildings in the city when you first took off. Then you opened up maps and I saw "Lake wheeler rd." and "Fuller st." Dude, you are flying in a park really close to where I used to live! I lived in the Raleigh area for over 15 years. Looks like you are at Dorothea Dix, or the dog park right next to it, it seems. So cool!

Great video. I am new to flying and already have had a few crashes. I watched this as a refresher and realized how many things I was a unaware of. That’s on me. Now, feeling much better about flying the Mini. Thank you very much.

Pro tip- For fixing cracks in plastic, use a product called weld on. It's usually a liquid or syrup paste that melts the plastic and bonds it back together like it came from the factory. It doesn't work with all plastic, but give it a try or research the type of plastic you have. I use it in my sign manufacturing business. It's pretty cool stuff!!! Good video BTW. This is my first non toy quad!

This is a great video for a beginner or seasoned flyer. I fly in Beautiful Nova Scotia Canada and we have similar flight restrictions as the USA.

@@parry4now Have you ever flown a drown prior to this drone? A lot of users assume they can fly right away. If you are in Dartmouth you may be in a flight restrictions area like Shearwater flight zone. If you buy from Bestbuy and have issues drop into Dr drone on Baker drive. They can help with all your issues that are DJI related that is.

Sick drone still looking for a job so I can buy this drone!

Probably one of the most detailed, most important, descriptions I'll ever watch. That had to take a lot of work and patience to put together. I'm not a beginner as far as flying drones. As always, the way you explain your videos is great...smooth, the perfect voice tone and always assuming that not everyone is an experienced person flying a drone. You "point" to icons, you show the phone screen; you doing the right thing to teach others. Too many people try to show and talk about the same topic, but honestly, after washing those other people I ending not understanding nothing but, with you I always understand I always learn something new. Great introductory video. I took my Mini out a couple months ago, wind caught it and ended up hooked in a tree, fortunately was able to retrieve it, but lost confidence to fly it again, but this definitely makes it simple and clear, should've watched this first!!
