ford pass is only available on 2017 models with SYNC CONNECT in the Escape, Fusion and F150 for now as an option but i am sure the whole line-up will get it once ford sees sales explode. It really is handy for those people who dont like to have to get up early to warm up the car or say leave work to go out in the heat to start the car to cool it off. set it and forget it and you even know how much fuel you have love this app I would like to see window roll-up down option just a convenience thing. Also a warning sent to you if your car ever gets hit and you are not around.

It does not work on Edge, I just bought 2017 Edge Titanium and the app is useless, just showing the gas level. But I have a remote start on my ford, I was hopping I could program the car to start prior going/coming to work.

Just one question if I may in regards to the section you were tlaking about where you can have the vehicle staRT up at a certain time, even though the vehicle will be running and lets say your still in your office on the 4th or 5th floor, since yu will the actual keys to it with you, you can still keep the doors locked so there wouldnt be much of a chance of having the vehicle Stolen even though the engine is running, right?

So I’m looking into a 2015 Ford Edge Sport Awd can Ford Pass work on that MyFord Touch and also can I update the system to Sync3?

Same with my 2017 F-150. I am told that Ford is working on getting the Sync3 to work with android apps. I was told to contact Ford directly, which I will do. I bought this vehicle because I wanted several specific option; one being a GPS. This system was advertised as working. If this does not work, it will become a HUGE issue!!!!!

i purchased a 2018 f150 with sinc 3 and had the same problem, my truck wasnt equiped with sync connect which is what is needed to operate the engine start feature from the app, its a device the dealer has to install through vehicle computer

Hi just a quick question. If your vehicle does not have a internet connection wifi in short, could the turn off engine works when un remote thru mobile phone?

Isn't there a monthly fee for being able to start vehicle remotely?

Hello. I recently purchased a 2017 Ford Focus SE. i do not have a vehicle control option. Could that mean it is not available for me?

Obviously the car must have a built in cell modem. Is there a charge for the service required for this? Obviously if my phone can monitor my car...that means so can Ford and the NSA. Is there an option to turn off the antenna?

Ford is offering the cellular service for the Sync Connect modem no charge for 5 years, but has not announced if there will be a charge after that period. If you wish to disconnect the Ford Pass app from the car, simply perform a master reset through the Sync 3 touch screen and that will delete any connected devices. Thanks for the great questions!

Great question! Yes you can add the same vehicle to multiple phones, but to do so you must activate the 1st phone, then wait 24 hours, then activate the 2nd phone.

Unfortunately the vehicle controls portion of the Ford Pass app is not available on any current Ford Focus. Only certain Fusion, Escape, and F-150 models.

Ford Pass is not available at this time on the Mustang for vehicle controls. You can still use all the other features of the app to find parking or schedule service.

The ability to control the vehicle with FordPass is only available on certain 2017 models so far. You may still use all the other features of the app such as finding parking spots and gas stations, and keeping all your Ford vehicle information in one secure place.

At this time Ford Pass is not available on the Fusion Energi, only select packages of the 17 Fusion and 17 Fusion Hybrid. I love the Ford Pass.....when I leased my 2019 Ford Fusion, I was bummed that the Key Fob didn't have a button to start your car when you were inside your home. I was absolutely THRILLED that I could put this app on my iPhone 6s and start my car!!! I don't know how many people who've jumped when standing or getting into the parked auto beside my Ford Fusion.....they had an older car and no way to start it with the push of a button!

The vehicle controls portion of Ford Pass is only available if you have the Sync Connect module in your Fusion. You can find out if you have it by looking on the vehicles original window sticker.

Great question, you definitely can have multiple phones connected to one car, but you must wait 24 hrs after activating the first phone to activate the second.

Only if you have the Driver Assist Package with Sync Connect, that is what allows the use of vehicle controls.

The Sync Connect module which enables use of the Ford Pass app is only available on 2017 Escape, 2017 Fusion, and 2017 F-150 (with Sync 3 and required trim level/ package). Unfortunately it is not possible to add Ford Pass to a vehicle that wasn't built with it from the factory.
