Getting Started with Autodesk Vehicle Tracking
Autodesk Vehicle Tracking is part of your AEC Collection and allows your to quickly create swept path vehicle analysis for your project site plans as well as having the functionality to create simple and quick parking layouts and roundabout designs without the need for moving in to Civil 3D. In this video we concentrate on a starter guide to creating simple vehicle sweeps with two types of vehicle and also how to translate your 3D design elements in to an animated vehicle path output.

Is this for 2019 or 2020 only. In the past autotrack had to be purchased, is free with 2020.

The Vehicle Tracking tool is designed to show the swept path analysis of a single/multiple vehicle types. It can also provide some help with junction/roundabout design and parking design. As far as we are aware it does not have any vehicle density tools as you can only count on objects which have been added to your drawings therefore unless you are adding a lot of vehicles to your DWG, we are not sure what you would need to calculate vehicle density in a 2D environment.
I didn’t show how to remove key frame points from vehicle pathway.

The Vehicle Tracking plugin/software is only available as part of the AEC Collection and can be downloaded and installed through the Autodesk management tool or through your software account.
