if your going to run the camper off of power at campgrounds, Get a charger wired in the camper that will charge up the battery box while your on the campground power... Also place a panel of that reflective roll behind the heater to reflect the heat backout thats behind it

I run a fork lift for an rv company moving them around I see a lot of campers that come in to be worked on have them covering all there windows to keep the heat out here in Texas get triple digits in the summer here they work good for that

No it's a Schmidt Channel we would watch it for what ever you are doing. Yep them milk house heater's work great. We have some in a shed that we use them in to just keep temperature above 40% out. That's my kind of dish washing. I would do that all the time when I was in the truck.

Get a blank single outlet cover, and drill a hole in the middle. Then pass those wires through it. Would look good and keep the fingers safe!

I also need to wear cheaters to read and see about anything from about 4 feet and closer. I used to be extremely near sited and had to wear corrective glasses since I was nine. I developed cataracts in both eyes so when my lens were replaced the Dr. put lens that would correct my being near sited. I need to wear my reading glasses when I shop, cook, read and anything that needs some extent of acuity to do. Hope everyone gets back to 100% and all stay safe and warm.

I wanted a truck camper when I had my dooly. But they were expensive! So I bought a new travel trailer that I pull with my 1999 frontier.

I think the pillow and blanket had frost on them. Not snow. When collapsed they had contact with the roof plastic.

Put the electric heater in middle of floor with more fresh cooler air through the back and it won’t shut off from overheating.

Looks like you had fun. Just a little fact you probably know… unplug your block heater before you start trucks. Little cavitation or air bulb your block heater is done. Changed a lot of them in 50 years… Wife surprised me with trucking with Schmidt sweatshirt…. Nice quality. First time buying any merch off utube 👍👍👍🎄

imagine living in that truck camper year round. I did it for a year in one similar to that.

OMG the plug in where you were a foot to far off. I just watched a lady spend 10 min trying to get close enough to the pumps in her car to put gas in it. She was either on wrong side os totally to far from pumps. Totally a a video moment.

Kirt....Hope you've had a chance to get the piecesparts for your propane furnace! All of your improvements are great, but the furnace is the key!

I like your winter camping videos. When I was a child my father took his children truck camping. When you were taking care of your groceries it reminded me how my dad kept our groceries. My father put our refrig food and our pop and his beer outside and he put kids gloves and hats and mittens in the refrig. That way we wouldnt use our propane. Lol.

@@horseplop9 depends on if the mantience is done right and on time . oil changed on time if it's not driven a lot then go by the month's oil breaks down just setting and how its driven if taken care of it will last many many years hope this may help answer your ? but these are JMO answers everyone's answer will be different

Opie looked very concerned when you was outside of the camper. Yup, my mom and dad had that same heater and it goes on and off all night. Oh, the white stuff on your top bunk was frost , not snow ❄️. That insulation, silver stuff I don’t know the name either, works really good. You forgot your glasses and gloves maybe small rug at the door?? Just your normal extension cord. Nothing in that camper pulls enough power for 30 amp

Your camper is probably due for some new canvas. Best bet would probably be a guy or business that does boat canvas and upholstery.

At least you'll be able to sit at home and watch SuperTruckerDan videos on You/tube, but even Dan seems to be going through the same as your with the low pay per mile blues.

Opie was making sure you didn't back into the creek when you had to get closer to the power box I think Opie knew something was wrong at home reason he kept going to the truck door like saying dad it's time to go home I think something is wrong there . he is like us as we get older the cold weather gets to us faster the old bones ache more and we hurt in places we hadn't before untill we get cold Jack's seems to be hurting more then Opie can't remember how old they are I no there only minutes apart when they were born my memory isn't what it use to be but I no you named them after Opie and Jack's from Sons of Anarchy show for the new subscribers to the channel but you need to get a set of steps that fit the pickup don't think the set for first class will work think there to long but it was cool that uber dad stopped and checked on you on his way home from the farm 🚜 but hope Sarah (warden) and Page (tator tot) feels better you need to get the stuff at the store to be able to make them some homemade soup to eat to keep their strength up homemade is better then the can stuff yes you can make them some ask your mom how to make it didn't see her in this one hope she is doing ok from where she fell well hope you and Troy (little bud) can stay healthy and not get what the girl's have but stay safe and keep the video's coming

If your front clamps can be adjusted, tighten them. If they are not the adjustable ones, I would replace them. That should stop the snow problem. I couldn't find my extra bulb stash. They should be 12 volt automotive 1156 bulbs that go in your lights. Please be careful with the wiring. Old camper wiring isn't made for heavy amp draw. Ask me how I know. Stay safe and God bless.
