Hi everyone! Okay..so this video is a bit all over the place. But lets talk about the good stuff first! We head to ikea where i vlog a bit for you all , and we finally bring my hamsters new cage home! I am so excited to have the ikea detolf again and I really hope that Mochi will love it! I decided to go with the white one this time! it looks so pretty:) Also, we try to put it together and at some point i had to stop filming because i had an episode of vertigo. I have been struggling with this for many many years and honestly, I am so over it because it just drains the life out of me. This video was such an adventure to watch and you finally got to go to IKEA! I am so relieved you didn't hurt yourself when the glass broke though. 😱 Yikes, that would have freaked me out. I'm sure you will set up Mochi & Patch's new tanks very nicely and I hope it all works out like you're envisioning! 💜 Good luck building the lid too! It's nice that Erin has a tutorial that's easy to follow, since so many people have detolfs and need lids for them! Oh, and I hope you don't get anymore vertigo flare-ups for a long while, and that Roche feels better soon! P.s. The deer was beautiful! 😍

I'm excited to see this all set up! My little Syrian loves this cage. I have still yet to build a lid, but I definitely have to sometime soon! Butter is getting really big, and since the Detolf is so short, tall toys make it very easy to escape!

I'm sorry you have vertigo issues. What causes it? I have M.E and I experience severe dizziness, sometimes I nearly black out from it. The main symptom of M.E is chronic fatigue. As well as cognitive dysfunction and a whole host of other stuff. I'm mostly bedbound these days. I absolutely know what it's like to think 'I'm so sick of being ill!" And theres no cures or treatments. Thank you for sharing the deer! I adore them! X

i am so sorry that you are also going through something! what they have basically told me was it usually can come from a sinus infection and or inner ear infection.. the thing is.. i dont have a sinus infection at the moment .. but apparently it can also come from stress.. so i dont know!!! so crazy!! luv ya and i hope you are doing okay!!! huge hugs!!! xoxo

I’m so sorry about your ear!! I really hope it got better, I was born deaf in my left ear and I wouldn’t want you to have to deal with that! For me it’s been like that my whole life so I don’t know the difference but I can’t imagine it happening when you know it’s happening, I’m sure that’s really hard! Stay strong and I hope that you get better!

hope your feeling a little better now Pam ❤ loved this vlog it's so amazing that you get a chance to see animals like a deer the most we see in England is a pigeon or Fox 😅 it was so funny when you was looking at the deer and then you was like oh look its Luna 😂😂 I love Luna shes to cute . I love IKEA you can find some amazing little bits and bobs in there . it was so weird seeing another IKEA I've only ever been to one ❤ the detolf in America is a little bit more in the UK its £40 but in America its £55 I hated putting my detolf together it took ages because one of the glass bits wouldn't go into the wood it was a pain x

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your vertigo. I have had it before but was fortunate that it was only for a few months. Although even a couple years later every now and then (maybe once every few months) I get a very small attack of it. My doctor at the time told me that it's common to get it from inner ear issues, something about crystals forming in the ear which cause the vertigo, he gave me neck exercises to clear up the crystals which eventually made it go away :) I certainly understand how crippling it can be though. I remember laying down on the couch one day reading a book, I needed to go to the bathroom but had such a bad attack when I tried to stand up that I was stuck on the couch for 3 hours because I couldn't get off the couch. It was horrible at the time, but it's funny now when I look back on it and think of myself stuck there for so long :P Also, I'm a bit behind on KZread, but I find it amusing that you're getting a new cage, you were so certain that you would stick with your current cages some time ago :D Can't wait to see how it turns out though.

Sorry to hear about your vertigo. I had experienced it once,touch wood and it was so scary. My mum is suffering with Meniere's disease and she had to be hospitalised few times. It is scary thing. She is now really good touch wood and didn't have an episode few years. Stay strong,and hope it will not come back again to you. xxx

I struggled with vertigo for many years as well, and hearing issues in my ear. Turns out it was being caused by TMJ. Worth looking into!

Ella Norman I am not trying to brag but I never really realized that some people don't see wild life a lot. For me personally I see deer and squirrels and a lot of other animals every day. But I don't get to see buildings and a lot of people

I got a detolf to recently, i have the large silent spinner but i did have to cut down the white stand otherwhise the lid wouldn't close but i really love how the detold looks ☺️

i get vertigo all the time and it's been so bad that i've had to leave school because i couldn't walk around or even stay right up... i one left school after being there for only and hour, and then i ended up sleeping for 4 hours afterwards. it's awful. i feel you!!

I feel you on being tired after IKEA, every time I go it exhausts me, not sure why.

HammyLux love the cage and everything but one suggestion it to use aquarium sealer to seal all of the corners and sides of the detolf

I had my Syrian in the detolf but she chewed all the paint off the bars and started chewing one wood so I had to buy another cage :( Just wanted to let you know!!! I have my robo in it (my Syrian used to have half and my Robo had half) all by himself now and he loves it!! I absolutely love your videos and it would be awesome to see her have so much space!! My wife has Vertigo (not sure if I spelled that right) she is 85% deaf in one ear so she can't always hear me when we talk to each other she gets very frustrated with herself but that is usually when she watches your videos which she does everyday the thing I tell her is don't get frustrated just talk some me time and write a poem (which she loves) or sing oh and BTW we just realized that you live in Virginia and so do we we actually live in Winchester, VA

I was in your situation! But I ended up with a hamster. Make a slideshow containing everything you need to know about hamsters and just tell her u will take care of it and pay and have it in ur room! I have a hamster now and my mom hated rodents but she loves my Hammy! She even helped pay for my stuff! Sorry I’m late u might even have a hamster now! But that’s just my advice

i have vertigo! i’ve never seen anyone else who has had it. it’s the absolute worst, you’ll be doing work or even just relaxing than all the sudden you can’t even sit up or move slightly without feeling like absolute crap.

My mom has something called maneirs(sp?) you might look into because that sounds exactly like what she's gone through. She's lost a lot of her hearing and has to wear hearing aids and has vertigo so bad sometimes she can't drive

If you need a break then take one! We can wait while you have your rest
