On my can am 650XT I have a set up that comes with their plows where a strap goes around the cross member on the bumper and on that strap is a pulley that seperates so u can put ur cable from winch thru it. This brings your winch lead up so when you lift your plow there aint so much down force on your cable and winch and keeps ur cable end from going into the fairleads. I also did this on my cf moto 800xc and it works great. Dont see why it wouldnt work on your machine either. If a person has no bumper maybe try a longer strap and put on your rack. Aint sure this will work for you but just a thought. Gives a guy some lead way on lifting ur plow. Also make sure u back away from ur snow pile before lifting plow it is less stress on everything.

Interesting, thanks Man! Seems it would work much easier that way for sure.

Can't wait to see it in action out on those Trail's. Now your wife can drive the SxS, and you can ride the Bruteforce. You can get double footage from a couple of Gopro cams 📷 I'd definitely upgrade those tires on the Brute, tho.

The SxS is gone, bought a boat instead. Ya, I'll be changing out the tires in the spring sometime, they are shot!

We were having a great time in it but I needed a break from the off-road scene, so I bought a boat instead. Doing some diving and shipwreck hunting on my other channel "Outdoor Rob".

What are the holes for in the fender? I assume one is rad cap access?

  • @RobFarrowATV

I don't think anyone but the 1st owner knows that answer. Best I can figure is they had some kind of rack or blind on the front of it? You can't get at the rad cap from the top, I was gonna just drill a hole thru but thought better of it. LOL!

Interesting! I've not heard much negative about k&n air filters, but I do know they don't work well in certain environments. Sometimes it's just best to use OEM stuff.

I've never heard much good about K&N, I even remember back in my two stroke days my buddies saying they were garbage...let in too much dust and grit. Thanks Broknex!

@@RobFarrowATV the only time I’ve heard about them letting dust in the engine is when they weren’t oiled I’ve been running them for over 15 years on my trucks and on my quads and SXSs and I’ve pretty much have always used K&N filter cleaners and oil.

You do realize the K&N filter is supposed to replace the air filter cage entirely? It sits there on its own and the top part screws onto the top as normal
