I think that's interesting about your schooling where you live. Here in the Midwest it's Kindergarten to 5th and grade for Elementary school, then 6,7,and 8th grade for middle school then 9,10,11 and 12 for high school. Pre-K depends on the location is either a daycare or in an elementary school but during the day portion.

We have kindergarten (3-5 years old), primarily school is prep-6th grade and then high school is year 7-year 12 and then after that you basically work or study

It’s different in the US depending on where you live. But mostly it’s elementary which is grade’s kindergarten-5th. Middle school is 6-8 and high school is 9-12. But like they said where they live 8-9 is a whole nothing thing.

In my area in usa is 3-4 years old is prek 5 years old is kindergarten 1-4 grade is elementery 5-6 grade middle school 7-8 grade jr high 9-12 highschool 13+ college or work

In S. A. we have pre primary 3 months to 5 years, or and Primary school Gr 00, 0 (separate)but still part of the primary school and then Gr1 - Gr 7 and High school Gr 8-12.

Kennadee, I live in the Cincinnati area and we have too many schools. There is a kindergarten center, 20 rooms and 2 classes a day. Then elementary is 1-4 th grade, there are 6 of them. Then you go to the 5th and 6th grade building, 3 of them. Then a 7th and 8th grade building, 3 of them. 9th grade is its own building and there are 2 of them. Next is high school and we have a huge high-school. There is only 1, so we usually have 1500 to 2000 people in the high-school at a time.
