Getting Ready To Hike Mount Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) UNESCO World Heritage Site - Huangshan Vlog
This is my second day in Huangshan city and I went to Huangshan's scenic area to hike the yellow mountain. This mountain is also known as the loveliest mountain in China, which is true because this mountain is really magnificent. It took almost 7 hours to hike this mountain from the back mountain to the front mountain because I didn't take a rest too much.
And this is my 12 km hiking route :
Yungu Temple Station (云谷寺) - White Goose Ridge Station (白鹅岭) - Begining to Believe Peak (始信峰) - Black Tiger Pine (黑虎松) - Beihai Hotel (北海宾馆) - Shilin Hotel (狮林大酒店) - Xihai Hotel (西海饭店) - Paiyun Hotel (排云楼宾馆) - Cloud -Dispelling Pavilion (排云亭) - First Ring (一环) - Second Ring (二环) - Xihai Grand Canyon Paiyunxi Station (西海大峡谷排云溪站) - Tian Hai Station (天海站) - Hai Xin Pavilion (海心亭) - Brightness Top Peak (光明顶) - Turtle Pea (鳖鱼峰) - Yi Xian Tian (一线天) - Ladder on the cloud (百步云梯) - Lotus Pavilion (莲花亭) - Lotus Peak (莲花峰) - Welcoming Guest Pine (迎客松) - Yu Ping Cable Car (玉屏索道) - Mercy Light Station (慈光阁).
I really recommend you to start hiking from the back mountain rather than from the front mountain. It will be safer for you to climb the Lotus peak from this side.
Total fee in Huangshan scenic area :
◍ Entrance Ticket: RMB 190
◍ Yungu Cable car: RMB 80
◍ Xihai Grand Canyon Cable Car: RMB 100
◍ Yupinglou Cable Car: RMB 90
◍ Round trip shuttle bus ticket is RMB 38 per person
Back Mountain - take yungusi shuttle bus
Front Mountain - take yupinglou shuttle bus

Hi Ervin, thank you. Yes, Mt Huangshan is really beautiful, I've plan to come back to hike again to this mountain in the winter. I just saw one of your video "Why do I hike alone", I agreed with you hiking alone or solo traveling to allows us to experience the places in the best possible way and also to record the film, because when we traveling with friends, sometimes we can't focus to film it and afraid they will feel annoyed waiting us hahaa.

Btw if you want to asking more about the hiking, you could send me DM in instagram @anabellacg89. And they already closed the lotus peak for maintenance 4-5 years and they opened the celestial peak. I also have plan to go there again for celestial peak. Who knows we can go together haha. My advice before you have plan to go to Huangshan asking the guesthouse you stay for the weather forecast. Don’t go there in the raining day, the wind is so strong. Put the itinerary of hiking huangshan in the end of your trip, because your calves and knees will be so sore haha. I put it in my first itinerary 😂. But it is really worth it, the view is so stunning, so that’s why i want to go there again for celestial peak (天都峰tian dou feng) If you interested to stay in the guesthouse I’ve stayed, I could share the contact of the guesthouse’s owner, they are really nice person and the most humble guesthouse owner that I’ve ever met.
