Unfortunately, I'm not going this year, but have been to Nationals in the past including last year. My tips. Take some time to look around and enjoy it, as it goes by fast. Write down tables that you may come back to and the card at that table that you're thinking about. Come with a list, but be flexible enough to get something that's not on the list if something jumps out at you. If you see something day 1 that you're really interested in, don't wait, as you might come back and it's gone. Don't want to kick yourself. I think you definitely need two full days, but three probably plenty. Bring enough money for your budget, but stay within that. Have fun! Can't wait until Chicago 2025.

I have never attended a National, but I am really developing "National Envy" this year! I see it's Chicago next year. That is just a 6 hour drive from here. Hmmm...

Brand new socks. everyone says comfy shoes (they're right), but buy yourself a brand new set of socks. if you are flying, you can toss them and that frees up luggage space for the trip home. you wont miss the socks. i did this last year for the first time. when i got back to the hotel room, i peeled those socks off and tossed them in the garbage can!

Chris: love the channel and all the videos. I know its a lot to make this content. I am heading to my first national in a few weeks. Cannot wait. I have a question for you. I am trying to figure out what ticket to buy. It I will be there Thurs-Sat is it worth getting the VIP ticket, which includes early entry. Also, what the heck is the Collector's Lounge? @@christarbell1540 the collectors lounge is suppose to be a meeting place and a place to get off your feet. It has never been much help. Get the VIP pass. The regular entry will seem like a long wait. Come to the meet and greet and look me up.

@@chrisfrommissouri Thank you so much! This is super helpful. Big fan of everyone that I've heard is going to the meet and greet, but been a little sheepish about going. I don't have my own KZread channel and don't want to detract from all of you that do (and are already friends) getting together and enjoying the time. Trying to get over myself and just show up. I hope we get a chance to meet. No matter what I'll be here supporting the channel. It's such great content for everyone in the hobby, even someone relatively new like me. Thanks again.
