My first thought was a Jules Verne room. He wrote tons of adventure stories. You could have all sorts of things in the room that the author maybe collected while he was working on his various stories. fish tank and undersea stuff for 20,000 leagues. A bunch of worldly stuff for around the world in 80 days. Pickaxes, ropes and crystals for journey to the center of the earth. Small samples of different flora and fauna for the mysterious island.
Damn, that ghost statue instantly filled me with ideas... I don't blame you for wanting to buy it at the get go.

Yes, I canceled a Friday night out, yet again 'cause I didn't feel like going out (introvert problems 😂) at all. Turns out it was a good decision because of this upload, Ara! Cozied-up, AC on full-blast while watching this. 💙

The organization is A++++
Your firebox room really wants a Poe inspired do up. Maybe "The Tell-tale Heart?" Also, "The Count of Monte Cristo" is a great adventure story and would allow a lot of fun opulence along with adventure themed goodies.

This was a very inspiring video! So glad to see your perseverance in the midst of everything mentioned in you previous video! Thank for sharing! SO Glad to hear the Show went Well and that 'Your Table" did well!!!
Ooooh, your ghost figure would look insanely good as a Pepper’s Ghost image! It’s a very simple illusion, honestly.
This really inspires me to get my online shop back and running. When I had my physical shop I sold many kits. My kits were mostly DIY home decor signs or seasonal decor kits made from wood. I’d really love to get it going again. Thanks for the inspiration Ara, maybe this is the year.

The ghost is spectacular!👻🤍
OMG Ara, I had no idea how much work was involved in doing a display for a dollhouse exhibition. I was exhausted just watching what you had to organise. I am so glad it went well for you. You deserve it. Cheers Robyn ❤😊
How fun! I'm so glad this was a success. Your organization skills amaze me. Well done! Bailey and Stormy did a great job of supervising. A 3D printed typewriter would be cool! Maybe in a vintage style for the adventurer scene? An adventurer would want to document those exciting expeditions. So happy for you! Thank you for taking us along for the ride!

Oh the typewriter is such a good idea! I have a typewriter design that I think could work really well but I might need to get a blade-cutting machine to cut out the little numbers and letters for the keys. I will start thinking about that! Thank you Rachael❤️

I really enjoy the vlog style content! Its very interesting to see behind the scenes and your voice and vibe are so soothing.
You are so organized, that is WAUW. Your table looks beautiful and I wish I could come to see everything in real. But I'am very glad you make video's and share everything here. Your ghost is amazing.
It was wonderful to meet you at the show and shop at your booth! Pretty sure my mom got the fireplace room box from you! You’re such a sweet, kind individual. Keep being you lovely lady!

Thanks for sharing this🤗. It's just amazing how much goes into preparing for a Show 😮!!! Looking forward to all you have in store for us 😃🤩❣️
I am always amazed at your organization! Both the prep & your beautiful, professional display. Most of the vendors you showed had beautiful things but their displays lacked your attention to presentation. Watching you prepare for the show, I couldn't help thinking how fortuitous it was that you got your studio reorganization accomplished when you did! I agree that the 'behind-the-scenes vlog was great. As many comments said on your previous up-load, *you* are the reason we follow BHM! (Well, we do love the the minis too) You could cut out paperdolls & we will be here. And for sure, don't worry about those stupid shorts!
Ok love the Ghost lady.💖 Thanks Ara this brought back memories of doing things with our Girl Scout troops. Great to hear that things went well for you class and your business.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹
Hi Ayra. I am not normally into ghosts, but that miniature ghost you purchased is simply gorgeous.
I love how organized you are!! You are absolutely amazing!! I enjoy your videos. Hope all is well with the kiddos!!
The abandoned chair class was so awesome! I can't wait to see what you teach next year. I loved getting to meet you and shop at your table! And thank you again for your very kind gifts for my best friend's daughter. We are working on her kits together and it is so fun!
It looks like a great show! And thanks for the extended footage of Stann Greg’s houses. I want to see them in person some day
It's so funny to me! I taught dozens and dozens of classes over the years. I dreamed of being half as organized as you. And yet even toward the end I still dumped my work bench into a box just before the class. Arrived 5 minutes before the start and dumped the box on a table and winged the class to rave reviews. I just needed the pressure and madness to really preform!

Fun video! For the roombox idea; a kabinet of curiosities would be awesome! With maybe some miniature skulls or animals on strong water? Eggs, precious stones and such. ^^

Your organizational skills and attention to detail are really impressive, and obviously valued by your customers and would-be customers! What a great show! Thanks for the mini-tour! Glad it was a successful event for you as a seller, too! An adventurer’s room? That’s a fabulous concept! There is a marvelous adventure series of books for middle readers called “The Land of Stories.” It would be such a fun and wide-open inspiration for an adventurer’s room! You are such a great organizer and I hope when I grow up I can be as organized as you are. It’s funny I have a spot for everything in my craft room but when I can’t find something, I can call my husband to come help look for whatever I am looking for at the time and it’s not until we find it that I realize it is definitely in the last place I left it. 😂😂 Great job at the miniature show and sale. I hope next year is even better for you. I hope your business grows and grows Ara, it couldn’t happen to a nicer person. 🤗❤️
I enjoyed this video so much, thank you Ara.😊
Wow that is a lot of work to get ready for a show and a class! I really enjoyed talking to you at the show, and love the items I bought from you (1:24 Attic Table, and a set of plant pots). I am hopeful that next year I will be able to take your class.
Your firebox room - way back in the day (late 90s at least) Walt Disney World in Orlando had “Pleasure Island” an evening entertainment venue with discos (lots of different themes), line dancing, restaurants etc and they had an Adventurers’ Club. It was styled like a late Victorian/Edwardian era club for British explorers returning from darkest Africa (source of the Nile type of thing) or the depths of the Amazon. There were mounted animal heads and this being Disney some of them moved and talked back. The club contained different rooms such as the library. I remember spending a very enjoyable evening waiting with bated breath for the next thing to happen. I know that this was one of the most missed attractions when Pleasure Island disappeared just because it was unique.
Inspiring video. So glad the show turned out well.
What a wonderful display you put up❤. Congratulations to a very successful show. Please make the adventurer's room a room in the house of an early past century hunter . There can be stuffed animals around the room, heads of wild animals on the walls and fur of animals like tigers and bears on the floor. Our society is absolutely against hunting now but it was the craze a hundred years back Or you can make it a room of a crazy cat lady, with mouldy furniture and moth-eaten rugs round the room
I would have loved to taken a class like yours. I learn a lot from your videos. I just bought a small wooden doll house and i am excited to start decorating it with all kinds of fun miniatures. I'll have to hunt for some shows in my area like this one.
I really love the organisation that you have - it gives me ideas for my organisation tasks. And wow! So many things to do for a craft show! (I hope you get more teaching gigs that you want).

So beautifully organized!
I Always love seeing your prepping vids. :}
There's a couple of different ways you can style an adventurers room. The classic look is more of an actual trophy room with an old blunderbuss, and plenty of taxidermy trophies. You could do that style in a more unique way with supernatural beings. Another would be an astronomer with star charts, a model solar system and a telescope. Even a Captain Nemo inspired aquatic theme for a deep sea adventurer. Just a few ideas that might be of interest.
@BentleyHouseMinis
Ай бұрын
I really like the astronomer idea! I think I am going for more of an adventurers 'library of studies' where all the research is done before the trip ;)

Hi Ara, I hope you had a blast and that your booth did well. Your organization is inspiring and brilliant as well as apparently worth it because your booth looks very professional and inviting.
