Roblox on oneyplays is insane, i love seeing the raw reactions to what children decide is edgy

I love how the first game was called "realistic guns" or whatever and they load in and the first thing they see is a kid is holding and shooting an mp5 from the very back with one hand nowhere near the trigger

You know once you get past the bullshit, Roblox can be a pretty creative place. The stuff folks can do in such a goofy engine is pretty wild, to me its like first steps to game design.

I've never personally had any issues with the Roblox engine, it uses Lua which I've always found to work the way I wanted it to.

Corey's actually right this time, roblox didn't used to be like this, it's just that people realized you can make money from it so the most popular games became things formulated to be popular with children and extract money from them, like those weird youtube videos, you know the ones i'm talking about. That being said there is good roblox games, you just have to look for them.

I hope they start finding the really good hidden games on Roblox

Man had they played roblox around the late 2010s they could played some of the cooler games there. One of my favorite was one where the entire map could be manipulated and you had moments where it was full on trench warfare while helicopters flew by. It was awesome.

I remember playing games that were essentially Gary's Mod games like Murder and Deathrun, but they were fun. There was also a game where you tried to survive natural disasters and one where you played hide and seek on a massive map, and one that was probably a rip off of a WWII fps I haven't played, but it was still fun. I wonder where those games are.

if you ever end up playing more of this you can right click and hold to move your camera. in the options there is a setting to enable ctrl lock which locks your camera to your mouse which is togglable by pressing ctrl again, its useful for aiming melee weapons. for some fun levels i would recommend which also don't require a long play time (ie no tycoons): Copyrighted Artists (start with a prompt and draw it then attempt to draw other people's prompts based on what what they drew to fool other players), Robot 64 (an adventure platformer like Mario 64), Super Bomb Survival (definitely a diamine rush game, survive falling bombs of various types on a chosen map), Journey to the Sun (another adventure platformer though this on has closer to classics Roblox controls)

"Perfectly open cover" is the best type of cover to use to take down your enemies. Gears of War would still be part of the video game zeitgeist if they just had realized that or hired Cory to design their cover system.

I played roblox when I was a kid in the early 2010's and haven't played or looked at it since, I think what's really bizarre in this video is how similar the game still is to how it was a decade ago

It's such a big platform that it definitely ranges from content that is surprisingly similar to back then to stuff that has so much work put into it you can hardly even tell it was made in roblox. @i3eaniie602 no. Minecraft is a completely different game compared to Roblox. It has universal appeal and played by literally everyone at some point. Roblox has a much more niche, childish, early flash game quality to it to this day. But, if there were a bunch of comments on one of their Minecraft videos recommending servers to play on, then yes. I'd assume they were 10-16 years old too.
