Good Evening John !!! 1st Battalion , 13 Infantry of the 193 Infantry Brigade here!!! Salute you this Memorial Day Sir !!! Thank you for your service as we Honor all fallen Brothers this weekend !!! We though, will never forget the sacrifice many have made for us to live free !.like I said once before. I never saw combat but I know many before & after me have. I was a mechanic in the 13th. Remember them as they were. You always have those good times to smile on Sir ! Long day so will cut it short tonight, off to bed. Have a great weekend John 😅!!!

I'm going Monday to visit my dad's grave to place his flags. My father would never talk about the military. He told us kids that we didn't need to know. The cemetery does a wonderful salute to Veterans, they place flags. The Veterans come do a full service.

Thank you for sharing this moment in your life. I went and watched the video. I can’t imagine what that would have been like to experience as a seventeen year old. I’m certainly sorry for your loss, but I am glad to see how dearly you still hold your departed friends all these years later.

I was hopng that you would take us on a ride back to the old cabin. Very enjoyable ride-along and your camera work is very good. Had to laugh at Aurora watching you backing up the truck. I think she was a bit doubtful of your abilities. LOL.

Thanks Linda, I own both places plus a third place. I moved for a more peaceful place. My new cabin is about 20 miles away.

Same thing every place not cheap getting worse plus seasonal items like groceries etc takes time to adjust department budgets lot times everything ages not going be doing sideing not partical board doing solid woods oak ply I don’t celebrate any day on that given day every day is counting my blessings used to fyi definitely get outside enjoy nature no complaints here any day above ground is good day those who know know don’t talk about that won’t no movies no books just like you open Pandora’s box learn from past but enjoy present just one thing you do you
