Thanks for sharing. I have applied for the fire service 3 times and I keep failing in the aptitude test, as you said it’s embarrassing, last week I got the email saying I failed it again, so you are right I underestimated the test, now really need some professional help to get a guide how to study the test. Hi Brent, i have currently applied for the 2019 recruitment course, wanting to pursue a challenging career in serving my community, i have a father who served 25 years in the MFB but can not give me any limelight into what to study for leading up to the written selection test, i have attempted a few practice test and did well but still need some work, would you be able to direct me in the right direction for more help to improve my knowledge?

Hey Arun! Citizenship is one of the minimum requirements for fire services. Unfortunately, this is something you have to get on your own. Only after you've become at least a PR where we can help.

While there is no age requirement in the fire service, work experience is needed for many reasons.
