I adore dogs and love the moment of pampering and care they get, but OP has a point. It's a dog, it has fur. If it was so necessary and such an issue to the point the dog is so sensitive then stray dogs in Brazil and other truly sunny places all year round wouldn't survive, if it's as cold as a sweater is required then that means it probably doesn't need sunscreen

@@OfficiallyKendra13 I dont like these kind of videos from a personal standpoint, we had a champion dog when I was still a kid and the judge didnt give him a full score because he didnt smell like a dog, I was about 12 yo at the time and I was the one that gave the dog a bath the day prior, ofc at 12 what did I know and I used the same shampoo as my Mother used for her perm (since he had curly hair). Needless to say how angry my father was with me, but it served as a lesson throughout the years. Now im a professional dog trainer and like I said, I dont like seeing this from a personal standpoint but as a trainer its amazing to see, that dog loves his owner so much and is one hell of a dog, if that time spent teaching him to behave like he does now was spent training him obedience, this dog would be a legend by now not just a champion, he would be a Hall of famer of competitive obedience. I try to steer my clients clear of teaching dogs these kind of things, sure brush your long haired dogs, clip their nails, but the rest is completely unnecessary and you can teach a dog to be so much more than a "make-up" doll...

The sun can be out and cause sunburn even it it’s winter, to my knowledge. I know it’s called sun “burn” but I thought the rays are what cause the burn not the temperature of the air. That’s why people that hike Everest still need sunscreen.

It's not the temperature but the UV rays that cause sunburns, so even though it's like 50/60° F in the winter I've gotten sunburns being outside for too long! I live in Southern AZ

she also said its winter? it's possible to sunburn when it's cold, the sun doesn't go away in winter, you're just usually in more layers and spend less time in the sun so sunburn is less likely. doggo hasn't got thick fur, the sweater probably helps against those chilly winds during outside time. i got unnecessarily technical but you also came here with an unnecessary callout so I guess we're even now.

A friends mother in law was concerned because the backyard porch lights were off and the dogs were outside. I told her "you know they can see in the dark right?" Lol she didn't know. Also, many people don't understand that it can still get chilly in the desert, especially at night.

If you don't like socializing, as an introvert or with bad social anxiety (which I have a type of social anxiety where I can't talk to people/selective mutism) having pets to talk to is a fantastic way to not feel lonely due to having pretty much no friends. Plus, at least you can teach dogs things, people can be extremely annoying or rude/disrespectful and whatnot. 😮‍💨

This innocent young woman is enjoying and acting out her caring and kind nature on a vulnerable being that is dependent on her. Actively practicing this self-less type of love and gentleness, is undoubtably helping her to become an amazing and caring mother if she chooses to have a baby at some point, a loving partner to the love of her life, a generous and loving friend to those around her, and so on. Instead of thinking about the importance and positive value of people acting out compassion in any possible form, you imagine something bad or negative is happening. Why? Why imagine something negative instead of focus on the positive? Please look at how the dog's face lights up and softens into love, whenever this young lady talks lovingly to him. Many people unfortunately do not succeed in making any other living beings feel genuinely safe and loved around them, including their own pets, their partner and their children. Do you look down on them too, because they devote their time to animals instead of humans? That would be really sad, because they are the front runners of our society. What they selflessly do with their lives, plus the things that they can teach us, is the difference between humanity's life and death. They are the exact opposite of selfish people who do not care about abuse to animals and children and who trash their environment without blinking an eye. The reality is that, as long as people are practicing and acting out their kindness, whether to humans or to animals, there is no valid reason to complain or to be negative.
