It was so nice to see you and Carter for the very first time. I remember having my baby for the first time. He was so adorable as a puppy and he is still adorable. I love watching you and Carter together. So much 💗 between the two of you.

I've had Chows for over 40 years and can't imagine life without one. Three have been rescues and just amazing. Once they trust you - and you have to earn it- it's a beautiful thing. Will they always obey? Certainly not but your chances improve as time goes by!

What a cutie! When he first came Carter looked so sad and didn't want to do much he just laid there and even turned his back to you. It was such a shock for him! I am sure he missed his siblings and his mom! But it is amazing how quickly he adjusted and how smart he is! He is already playing fetch and brings the toy back to you and he can already sit on command. Remarkable! I heard chows are one of the most intelligent breeds!

He is so happy and upbeat for a puppy that left his home.

When we went to pick up our boy from the breeder, she told us to bring a small blanket from home, when we got there she tossed the blanket into the pen with all the puppies and even the mama. It kept our boy calm and when we got home(3hrs later) just out the blanket where he would sleep. Comfort scent blanket, he would explore a little and return to the blanket for a bit before explore some more.

When I went with my dad and brother to fetch my girl chow chow puppy 51 years ago I was so excited. The first thing she did when we opened the front door was rush into the kitchen where mum was making some cheese sandwiches. She was so shocked at this little bundle of fur...a real life teddy bear lookalike, that she dropped a load of cheese on the floor. Little madam darted for it and scoffed a fair bit before we could move her away. I named her Che Che after the famous panda and an abbreviation on the word cheese😂well I was 10. Her first night was agony for me because I just wanted to bring her upto my bedroom. I could hear her crying for her mum and brother. The next morning she was fine. I was always an early riser so my job was to let her out onto the garden. I think chow chow puppies are the most gorgeous looking fluffs. Miss my beautiful girl❤

Fyi he wont sleep on the bed, our chow plots on the floor usually wherever he finds a cold spot! They're fluffy and get hot so will find a cold spot to chill on!🦁

He name was Spencer , the BEST Dog ever! he loved people due to me socializing him at a early age. Very smart he only would poo and pee in one corner of our backyard. True Maintenance is very important. Other then that they are excellent 🐕. And wben they get bigger maintenance is bigger challenge. And mine Chewed my favorite voots a nd my door. But that stoped. He was teething. But i didn't care i love my Chow. When they grow up they stop all that puppy stuf m r e lay back. Still a beautiful breed.😍😍😍

You need to be made aware Chow Chows will ONLY become attached to just "one" person. The more your lady "holds" and touches or connects with the puppy the less it will want anything to do with you, I know as I have had cc's and a wife since 1978. It is possible with cc's it may not want much to do with even her, they are extremely independent of humans. When they growl, LISTEN they are trying to tell you something isn't right for them. Have fun and be proud as those breads are very proud all by themselves. I love Chow Chows.

That is so nice This year I got better dog beds that have more cushion , that were affordable. I love spoiling my pugs. I tried putting the birthday hats on them. Also getting the birthday cookies.
