When you mentioned that you celebrate when others have dreams fulfilled it reminded me of Romans 12:15a: “Rejoice with those who rejoice.” Have a blessed day and thank you for all you do!

I know a lot of people (including myself) who have had the sting of jealousy and the "must be nice" attitude when hearing of other peoples dreams coming true. I knew that I had experienced real growth both spiritually and mentally when that sting turned into motivation. Watching the fulfillment of your dreams fills my heart with hope!!! 💚

It made me cry when Bear said his hello to you, because my old farm dog, Pogo, who passed away many years ago and is deeply missed by me, used to say hello just that way. Oh boy, she was such a good, good girl. I gotta stop writing, because I'm totally losing it, but those solid hearts of the quiet and steady loyal friends just win us every time. Thank you, Jess--so excited for Jeremiah and you to finally get your house!

This very thing actually happened to me when I met Jess. When it was my turn in line the only thing that I could say was “can I hug you”. So many of the things she has said have just been things that I so desperately needed to hear at those certain times in my life ❤ Such a true blessing to so many kindred spirits, Jess!

I was listening to this while my 3 kids were making a ton of noise in the room and I kept thinking Jess was saying she missed “fresh linens”. I thought, wow, okay that’s kind of bougie, but whatever. Then I realized, oh it’s LEMONS! 😂

People having the negative reactions are still going down their healing journeys. I know there is a part of me that feels sad when I see people's dreams being fulfilled when it feels like mine are getting further away from being fulfilled everyday. But I breath and lean into the pain and remind myself that I have no idea what their path looked like to get there. We all have ups and downs. Celebrate the ups, shout them out because they remind the rest of us that if we just don't quit, we will make it. ❤❤🎉🎉 I cannot wait to see your house unfold. Your building a fantastic house is showing us that if we have clean living, hard work, looking out for others and we can have the house too. Nice guys don’t finish last. Anyone who can’t see that and is jealous, is not wanting to work as hard and make the sacrifices you have made. Your rags to riches story show that the reason others can’t have is because other haven’t made your sized sacrifices, yet. It’s that simple. You take away the excuses. Hold you head high and be proud! You give us that haven’t gotten as far as you, hope. IF we are willing to give up comfort for long enough, we can be a blessing to others too.

I learned from Becky at Acre Homestead to make my own cream of anything soup I haven’t bought a can of of cream soups in over a year.I’m Making my own broth as well. I’m slowly getting rid of anything that I can make and in return control my ingredients.

It blesses me to know that you have another dream coming true 🎉. I had one thing that happened for us this winter, I needed a pantry and we finally got to go shopping for one. Only to find that there's nothing worth spending SO much money on (in a box store) and still not meeting our needs . So we talked about making one from scratch. And I am so proud of my husband to not only MAKE a pantry, it really matches the whole kitchen cabinets. 🎉 I've waited for the pantry for over 5 years. And I am so happy!

It is so amazing that you protect those around you to that degree. It's his dream. It reminds me of an article I once read. I don't know who wrote it but it was called "Marriage isn't for me." I'm sure it was on a website or in a magazine somewhere and it showed a newlywed couple in a picture but was written from the groom's perspective. It was a form of clickbait. LOL The story was magnificently written and the whole premise was that he realized that his job was to make this marriage for her. Equally as vital, his new Bride must make the marriage about him. When you look at any relationship that you have not being "for you," it simply thrives. That story shaped my heart that day. It has been the way I've tried to think about everyone I interact with. On any level. You and Jeremiah have that.
