About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.

The white dogs are Maremmas, an Italian breed. They are bonded to a herd and then live and guard that herd. They are used mostly for sheep and goats but sometimes used for other livestock. Cheers Shirl n Rob

“That’s not a goat” lol
Megan & Jack thank you for another good video. Enjoy planning your next road trip route.
The dog is for protection against foxes 🦊 through lambing or kidding and they are raised with the flock to maintain a bond and kept with them
The white dog is a great pyrenees which is probably the most common life stock protection dog all over the world. Typically they don't live like a pet, they eat, sleep and live completely outside with the livestock. Don't need much training except to know that you're safe and they just instinctively do the rest.
Thanks guy's top vid, looking forward to the extra vlog's.Thanks.👍🏾👴🏾

Loving the vlogs guys, and for keeping it real.❤👍 That dog instead of a sheep dog, could have been one of the more rare breeds called goat dog. 😁😁
16:20 I hate it when that happens… Thanks for the video, I’m enjoying these episodes. Cheers
The dogs are there to guard their herd. They are very cool and clever animals.
Ha Did I detect that Jack had a touch Felix envy lol !
You are correct..they are Maremas and that is there job to protect...check out the movie oddball....and Turkish delight is my favourite...my hubby gets it for me when we stop at servos ...loving the videos..take care 😀

Cheers
Don’t apologise for the “rambling” guys. I love it, it’s real, makes me giggle watching you. Your vibe is awesome 😎 😃

Hit Yeppoon for a beach swim, then head inland to blackdown tablelands, Emerald (go to the Dam), Gemfields then out west to do the dinosaurs before it gets too hot? That's what'd I'd do if my Nissan had all it's wheels on...
Coffee, love it and trying to work out how to simulate the espresso machine experience I have at home in my 4x4. Without actually fitting it in! What about travelling to Tibooburra then to Cameron’s corner where all 3 states meet then drive west to the red centre? Would be an awesome trip

You were correct in your assumption Jack, "as rob c" and many others stated the dogs protect the livestock. And Megan I'm not so sure that the old wives tale about Coffee stunting your growth is correct🤣. another great video, thank you for allowing us to follow.

Hi guys. Love your videos. First time I’ve logged in to comment, but the dogs looking after the goats are Maremmas. They’re very special dogs that guard the herds. You should watch the movie Oddball ❤️🥰
Hey guys get down to vic start of December and I'll take ya on a Vic high country tour.. Are you planning Vic this year?
Watch the movie Oddball and you will learn about Merrimac. We have one looking after our chooks
There are those dogs in paddock ok free-range chickens near us

I don know where you are now. Have you been to Carnarvon Gorge? How bout Expedition National park. Off the coast but still close enough to duck back to the coast if some tickles your fancy. Hi Megan, i'm wondering, when you said you make a folder from different things on Instagram, do you search the area you are planning to go to, or what specifically do you search. Sounds like a good idea but l'm a bit confused, hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance
