14:38 This is an area I designed! It’s so crazy to see this because it’s the most full circle thing I’ve ever experienced in any of my hobbies. I used to rewatch the original B3313 video a ton a couple years back, it’s probably one of my favorite videos on the channel. That video inspired me to get fully into romhacking, and so I took inspiration from B3313 and made a hack for the Dream competition. Chris saw that and recruited me to the B3313 team, and I made that area, which Simple is now playing and saying is ludicrous. This is such a wild feeling, thanks for calling my area ludicrous dude it means a ton

I installed SM64 on my new Steam Deck and someone on discord was like "wouldn't it be funny if you could play B3313 on this" and went through the trouble of patching Mupen and installing it to be like "hahah yeah bro it'd be mad hilarious here's me playing B3313 on my steam deck" just for the joke but I went and tried the game and it's like... woah! so much stuff??? and the castle system is like the backrooms??? and everything is so huge!! and the funny secrets!! and now I love this hack.

Not to mention it's already outdated with the release of 1.01. I shared it with one person because they asked but if I were to make it public I'd want it to be flawless.

32:00 you have no idea how many people I’ve asked the jay-z question Also heads up, areas in this game can get corrupted after playing for a while and collecting/ doing certain things. I believe things like green stars, purple coins, activating the yellow switch, and destroying the things that say destroy can cause this. These cause areas to become corrupt with wrongly colored or just incorrect sprites, but nothing really harmful to a normal playthrough. Also be careful in the basement You never know who’s flying through there

Remember that guy that made infmap of the planets and space in gmod? This time he did the infmap version of zelda oot and mm. There are 3 versions of the map oot,mm and both combined. This is fantastic, i asked if the recent version would conflict with the oot version and he said no, today nintendo release gameboy port of super mario land,alleway and baseball(now its canon, you can play the baseball minigame). Today me and Sanji advanced even more in portal knights, with my luck we got the jade event and we both got a katana, he is way ahead than me while i am grinding materials for upgrade and stuff

I have played around 18 to 20 hours of B3313 1.0 and the only way I was able to keep going is because my buddy Popper was helping me out. You should have a buddy Popper to help you out too.

if you're planning to 100% this game, i've been working on a sort of map-checklist-thing for myself, which should be sufficiently vague to avoid spoilers or just outright tell you where everything is. if you do want it then i could DM it to you when i'm done with it, though i would also suggest just writing down what you've done for yourself if you want to completely avoid spoiling what's where.

​​@@EdgieAlias I too used to be my "recommended" weight where everyone told me to stay but I never felt comfortable with it so I lost about 5-10 kgs and I felt way better afterwards. While I would still recommend you listen to professional advice, you and your body knows what it wants and what it's comfortable with because it's well, you! So good luck man. (Forgot to mention but please be sure losing about 20~ kgs won't effect your health negatively since health is above all, except that go for it!)

A thing that simple doesn't seem to take into account iin the dinner with jay z thought experiment: Some people would choose even five dollars, or nothing at all, over a dinner with jay z. Some people don't want to hang out and spend and evening with a stranger, so it's a no-brainer to not have to do that and then also get some monetary reward on top.

The version he's playing in the video seems to be 0.9, which is actually fairly outdated at this point. The most recent version that came out just 3 weeks ago or so is 1.01, and from what I've read it actually makes it so you're no longer warped to the beginning of the castle after most levels.

Incase anyone doesn't know, the first painting he went in way underwater is a small goomba you need to carry back to land for a star. I just happen to see some bubbles while swimming around and found it strange it was just chilling underwater not dying like any other time I see them.

This mod makes every version of Super Mario 64 being customized myth kinda true I hope Nintendo never shuts it down because these videos of it are like Mario horror comfort food not just your videos on the playthrough of it every video that I have been recommended

OH no, Sample hit the yellow switch... The yellow switch randomly changes a whole bunch of the "personalization values" in the game (YES THOSE ARE REAL), and can uncollect/collect random red stars. Also the painting that "changes depending on emotion" is like WDW, the place it sends you depends on where you enter it from.

The new B3313 1.0.2 is MUCH better, since you get teleported back from where you came even if it's not a painting, making the game MUCH more enjoyable.

I completely forgot that this B3313 playthrough has a part 1, and I did watch it - three months ago. Wow. I'm just as disoriented as Simple. Great immersion, cool idea.

Simple seems to be playing an early version of v1.0 (Pre-hotfix 2). In later versions you warp bac to the level entrance when you die or collect a star on nearly every stage, so the issues finding the stage again around 13:50 wouldn't happen anymore.

This romhack just has to be like half a dozen gigabytes to fit all these levels in

the sequel to the penny question

FINALLY the 45 minutes B3313 video

sm64ds has better controls if you have hands that are prone to unintentional movement. my thumbs don't always do what I want, and it's harder to accidentally veer off in the wrong direction using the dpad+camera rotations method in the ds game than it is to use the analog stick in the original. of course, a smaller analog stick with less travel and a bit more springiness is better still. (in my case)
