I'm wondering if you guys knew about Vietnam's e-visa? You submit everything, pay online and get approved within a day or two. It's so much easier than visa on arrival route and it's good for 30 days. Unless you want to stay more than 3 days, e-visa is the easiest option.

Download "grap" for transportation and also do the motorbike night food tour. It's really fun and get to learn some history about Saigon. Best food in Vietnam as for me.

One personal item (we have huge backpacks), plus one carry-on item weighing less than 15 kg (I can't remember exactly the weight, but I think that is it!)

If I go from India to Bangkok and go to Vietnam from Bangkok after a few days, where do I have to get a Visa Approval letter for Vietnam? Pls Reply me

We only have experience entering Vietnam by airport, so if you are doing that you can receive your visa at the airport before the passport check. However, you need a visa approval letter before you get there. You can get one online for about $12-15 depending on how many times you plan to enter the country. There are multiple websites you can get one from, I would just google it. It'll take a few days to receive in your email, make sure to have it printed before your flight!

Travelling with VietJet was a bad choice.

As a U.S Citizen, I know you need a visa to vietnam but do you also need a visa to travel to thailand and back to vietnam in order to fly back to US? (Multi entry visa?)

If you have a connecting flight and do not need to enter Vietnam, I do not think you need a multiple entry visa. However, if you bought a flight to Vietnam, and then another flight separately to the US, you may need to get one? I guess it depends if you checked luggage and need to enter the country to re-check your bag. What kind of flight did you buy?

Ok, so since you are technically entering twice you will need a multiple entry visa. Make sure to have your Visa On Arrival letter printed before you go!
