Luckily I don't need it, the first time I had to trim my kitten's nails she screamed like hell, however the second time I had to trim her nails, she didn't protest one bit. She's four months old now and I've had to trim the a couple of times so far and it's been nothing but ease.

This cat blanket for nail cutting is very well designed, but the last time I checked it has an outrageous price of $100 each. Most likely it is made in China as most small items are. Competitors with similar blankets run about 15-20 dollars each on Amazon. At $100 apiece I'll wait. If it was priced reasonably this company would sell out in days if not hours because most cat owners have a nail trimming problem and clearly it is well designed.

If too long they snag and can trip the cat or they snag in people's skin = painful. I clipped all my wild cat's claws while he was sleeping!

When they get older sometimes they don't get around as much to wear them down and shed them. They'll curl and grow back into the hand if they don't get enough wear. I had a little one who got arthritis as she aged, and it happened to her around her 13th/14th year. It had curled around and was on its way to re-entering her hand.
