@@verbfrombonsai8852 minor, but, in a way, crucial. Those bosses can single-handedly end an endless run, especially if luck is not on your side and you get NO boss blind rerolls, so Chico is practically a lifeline.

Really wanted you to strengthen that steel poly 9 to a king after giving it a red seal.

This run would be nothing without Perkeo and Oekrep

disable from the legendary joker DOES matter on very large blind, it cuts the score requirement in half.

this makes me wanna go back to my vampire midas run :( balatro is so insane when it spirals out like that

I had that and the "all cards are face cards" and it was going well till i hit "debuff face cards" and my chips were mostly from scary face, so I couldnt keep up with the anti, even with vampire already at a massive Xmulti

Genuinely an insane run, I just bought Balatro and I hope to one day reach these heights.

The real life lore of triboulet is actually insane and I strongly recommend y'all to look it up.

I feel like letting Perkeo stack a bunch of wheels and praying for polychrome would have been the play, as long as you still had enough Queens left

I'm pretty sure they don't let this happen, but if you are able to use fool to copy the Soul you could get all 5 at once.

The fool only copies tarot and planet cards. Soul is a spectral card, even though it can appear in arcana packs.

I had a run with trubalt and it was just red seal spade of queen flush fibe then i had the stone arrow that hives 50 chips for each spade and some other jokers

Instead of using the Death for Jacks, you could just use the Death for a King or Queen. That works for Canio (if you still want to destroy as a Jack), as well as Taboulet if you want to use it. So no downside of having it as a King / Queen instead of a Jack

Couldn't you have kept the Polychrome Steel 9, waited for duplicated Strengths and Strengthened it up to a Queen? Edit: He did this later in the run with a Polychrome Red Seal 9.

I think Chicot actually does retroactively disable the large blind bosses. It just quarters their score needed after you start.

You shoulda put the seed in the descrip tho that looked like some silliness When you had 6/5 and they were all legendary then you even got another soul stone?? was the funniest part of the run even though I understand why some got sold towards the end

Don't you want foil instead of poly on the cards to get the chips up? The chips were kinda lacking

why were you deathing jacks instead of kings and queens? the joker asks to destroy face cards and jacks dont work with the other one

You answered your own question. The multiplier ability of Triboulet doesn't apply to Jacks, meaning that their only use is to destroy for Canio to improve its effect. Keeping Kings and Queens allows you to use Triboulet to its highest degree. Hope this helps

@seaoftra he was duping jacks to just shred them later if needed or change them into something else when he got desperate. He only ever needed 5 kings or queens to play a hand, so while he had a ton extra he was burning jacks for Canio

@@firesire3971 yes thats why i was asking why did he do that. Why not dupe queens or kings. There were plenty of times where he had queens and kings in his hand but he chose to dupe jacks, which dont work with triboulet

I ran a run yesterday in which i got a Perkeo from a Soul card. I ran the same seed back and i think from the same soul card i got a different legendary. Do they always give you completely random legendaries or did i find a second Soul? I haven't had time to test this.

Next time you get perkeo you should leave wheel of fortune in the tarot card slot to see how many you need until polychrome

You weren't finding the tarot cards you were hanging onto in the shop because without the Joker that allows duplicates, nothing shows up in the shop that you already are holding.

If you have the wraith card and perkeo it can be op cause after a while you will get a brainstorm and blueprint and if you do ghost deck on this seed and take a wraith if you get multiple you can eventually get brainstorm and prolly if you go far enough blueprint so 4 perkeo

It’s so hard to activate Yorick before losing because of the lack of joker slot. Chicot seems good but it doesn’t do shit besides deactivating blinds. Canio is really hard to use with RNG. Perkeo and Triboulet are basically the best.
