God has used this sermon 3 years later to keep a sinner like me from pursuing worthless things and has called me back home with Him. Thank you for letting your light burn so brightly for Jesus.

The funny thing is, the spirit told me the exact same thing about no longer watching romantic movies but I would brush it off because it seemed extreme. But, hearing Pastor JP say it leaves me no choice

I don't know who this pastor is but this guy is so so so good. Like the best thing I have heard. Gotta visit this church one day

Lust is an unnaturally high intensity of desire and associated action in work, sex or both. Lust makes us instantly happy and healthy so we may think it is a spirit from God, but the truth is lust robs us of an enormous amount of spiritual power making us get old as a result. We could live up to a possible 900 years of age like the fathers if we have truth faith and true love. 900 years for them passed in about 130 days, we can infer from Genesis 29:20. Zechariah 4 is also about true love, the two trees there are husband and wife. There is a sexual love of God and there is sexual lust.

I wish we’d stop talking about porn as an ‘issue’ about ‘us’ and our spouse/ future spouse and get back to the primary issue of objectifying a daughter / son of God. The way we talk about porn always seems to agree that Pornstars themselves are objects and worthless. I don’t want to hear about an issue with porn I condemn men and women objectifying human beings and that needs to be shamed and scolded because it’s evil and devoid of the love of God. It’s not a personal struggle it’s using human beings and looking at them as less than human. There’s a lot of death, suicide and harm in the porn industry and anyone who watches it is directly responsible for harming humans in severe ways - sometimes killing them.

I have nothing to offer and America is crumbling to the ground. I probably shouldn’t go fishing at all and just stay home hungry.
