I was in the hospital for 43 days on life support 2 times. Had a blockage in my colon. I had a colostomy bag for months. I also aspirated and with phenomena. 4 major operations. So I am so thankful that I lived and life is good. I am thankful for everything especially cleaning, shopping, showering,and my hair is coming back. At one point I couldn't roll over in bed or even walk. So blessed I am mom,grandma, daughter and sister.. so blessed 🙌 😇 🙏 God saved me.

I love your comment about appreciating the ‘mundane’. 4 years ago a car accident gave me a brain injury and permanent disabilities- my left side doesn’t work good. I would LOVE to mop the floor like I used to. I’m still adapting but finding appreciation in what I still can do. Our perspective makes the difference. Look forward to things, find happiness in cleaning because it does feel good… looks good… smells good. It’s one of my favourite moments every day is seeing our kitchen bench/counter is clean after dinner…. the lights above it… and I know I cleaned it by myself. Probably sounds silly but I get so much joy from seeing the kitchen clean after a delicious meal my husband made (I can’t cook any more). Stay happy ❤

The home and garden tasks can occasionally feel overwhelming, especially come garden season. I will say I absolutely love what you said about getting to do this or that. I feel incredibly blessed to be a homeschooling homemaker. The color palette stuff is so neat once one figures out what works for them. I literally looked greenish in some colors! This resonates with me. Our home flooded and we’ve been out of our house for 2 weeks. It is so hard not being able to do daily life. Our routines and day to day are sorely missed! It brings me great comfort and joy!

My 5th pregnancy was also SO hard. I literally mourned the life I had not pregnant. I missed my kids even though I was with them every day. I just couldn't be me. My husband did EVERYTHING. I am amazed at his grace and support. Our 5th was also suchhhh an easy baby. I feel like God said you need this child to a calm personality after that year. She's sooooo worth it but a little terrified for another pregnancy.

Love your honesty that even though you're back, you're still limited with activities and movement! Post surgery I was expecting full recovery at 2 weeks like my dr said. But its actually taking much longer for my stomach muscles to heal after being cut through. 😂🙈 time to take it a little slower, maybe!

I’m a young mama of four littles trying to overcome Lyme disease with God’s help and I’m praying that I can do less and rely more on His grace so that I have more health and life return to me. My daughter is a makeup artist and she really doesn't use contour. This is just these online influencers who have made women think they need to do this step. Less is more. I think you are beautiful, and I'm sure you would be so without makeup. My suggestion to all women who are working out in the sun is to wear a hat and gloves. I got basal cells cancers on my face due to working out in the yard, also my hands aged so much from sunspots.

If it helps any, my hair gal says to keep hair healthier, it’s advantageous to alternate a full weave with a partial weave. I do this to keep the ends from getting fully covered and broken as often and it still looks fresh 😊

I still have to put away some Christmas stuff too. ❤ Lol
